First time around, I got seriously caught up in the EndingGATE drama. Just finished ME2, and about an hour into my 2nd playthrough of ME3. First time with all the DLC.....except for the one that came with the collector edition.

Figured it been 3 years. Pretty excited for the new Mass Effect Andromeda  game. Really curious to see what ending 2.0 is gonna be like. Expectations set to realistic.

I suspect I will have a lot more fun with Mass Effect 3 this time around. Forgot that you start as level 30 if you were level 30 prior game. So, playing on Insanity, and not too hard

If you are looking for any tips on how to spice it up, do not be strictly paragon or renegade. Mix it up. Think paragade or renegon.

good call. going with my gut on this one. If a player is used to how ME2 did things, ME3 feels right at home........My problem is: I usually end up 50/50 on the Paragon and Renegade options. Always messes me up. In Me3, Miranda was the only non loyal member. Still beat it with everyone, but I was annoyed with myself with being half in each.

Thanks for the tip!!!!

What's wrong with 50/50? Most of my Shepard's come into ME3 as 50/50, sometimes 60/40, sometimes 40/60. Doesn't really matter except for some autodialogue and some character dialogue differences. What matters in Reputation. Your reputation is your combined paragon/renegade score. If you are doing side quests that having enough reputation to pass persuade checks is fairly easy, especially with an import game.

Do you mean you haven't got "From Ashes"?

If you haven't, get it. Trust me, it's worth it and Javik is awesome.

That is the one I did get, since it was included. But, the rest - have never played....

Personally, I enjoy playing Leviathan after the mission on Thessia, and play The Citadel after Horizon, but before assaulting the Cerberus base. Hope you enjoy the latter as much as I have!

Thanks. I am sure. I really liked the Me2 dlc, except for one, so I am looking forward to ME3s.

About 20 hours in, level 56 at the moment. You sure level up fast. A much more fun experience than I recall.......played 2 out of 3 DLC for first time, and on the Citadel DLC right now - the DLC has made it a lot of fun, imo.

Good stuff. Looking forward to the next ME

I also finished again ME2(platinum trophy) and started a new game in ME3 to make different choices and win platinum trophy(3 left). And also save the Quarians.

But I want to pause the game for a while, while I buy the DLCs. They pretty expensive tough, Bioware could make a full DLCs pack.

ME3 DLC's recommended are From the Ashes, Leviathan, and the Citadel. The latter one is now my End Game; later events are now considers post-game entertainment.

Citadel is pretty good - I love how lighthearted it was. And, you get a infinite ammo weapon - pretty great for Insanity mode that I've been playing on.

From the Ashes also offers such a weapon; quite useful on some specific missions. However, my favorite weapon is the Sabre AR found near the end game; reason NG+ games are more enjoyable than some other Players.

But Citadel hits homers for comedy again and again; almost get killed following Glyph and the others around for banter rather than fight.

Just hit level 60......Leveling up isn't too hard in this one, esp if you start off at level 30, as I did this playthrough. Yeah, lots and lots of weapon options.

If you need infinite ammo, you are doing it wrong. There is plenty of ammo in ME3. And really, there are any number of "bulletless" insanity playthroughs on youtube. Moreover, the Lancer is hardly "infinite ammo." Just try overheating it. The reason the Lancer is a good weapon is because it is hard hitting, light weight, accurate, and with little to no muzzle climb. It's large clip size helps as well.

I usually play Leviathan after Samara. But after Thessa sound more fitting. I'll try it next time.

As for Citadel, I almost always play it fully after the game. I treat it like an epilogue. But the ending of Citadel, where Shepard says "The best" gets me. Every time. ;)

By the way, is there a way to save the party picture?

If you're on pc, you can just take a screenshot during the morning after. Also, if you're on pc, I'd highly recommend getting ME3Explorer and applying mods. It really adds to the replay value.

Lol, I was lucky and played through the boxed trilogy with all DLC for my first time. I also went into it with no idea about the ending controversy......and I LOVED all of it, including the ending.

I had a clean slate in my mind when I started and got blown away, and I thought the ending was amazing!

Then I made the mistake of checking these forums and saw how people were ripping it apart and crying about the "bad" endings, was odd seeing people react so badly to something I totally enjoyed. Lesson in perspective there I'm sure, lol.
