Please bioware you've gotta realize that this is a little ridiculous and unreasonable. If you release a game for all of these systems then you should release the dlcs for all of them. You shouldn't help the developer of these console pressure people into buying the latest console. Alot of people don't have the money to buy the new consoles. They cost like $500. So please release the descent and any future dlcs for dragon age inquisition on all of the systems that it was released on. I would really love to play this new dlc. Please will someone who works for the company respond to this message.

I think it was a little ridiculous and unreasonable that Boware spent so much extra time to develop a next gen game for last gen consoles. I think the overall game suffered because of it. My PS3 broke early 2014 and i was tempted to buy another one because i miss playing DAO DA2 Skyrim etc on it. I said nope DA3 is coming out on next gen so i better get on that. But i find out that Bioware is pouring out resources to make the game playable across all consoles. Resources they could have used addressing other parts of the game. What a nucking joke. I could only imagine what DA3 would have looked like if they simply concentrated on next gen consoles. It is already August 2015, the ps4 was released Nov 2013! If you don't want to keep up with technology then thats on you. But i'll be damned if they have to dumb down graphics or make areas smaller or less dialogue because this game needs to work on last gen consoles in 2015. i'm glad for this decision.

I very much doubt DAI would be any better, the problems that it has aren't related to old gen.

And same can be said to any platform, of cource cutting one platform or two always releases resources. If game was XBONE exclusive it would have lot more resources put into game.. though sales would also been lot lower so maybe they wouldn't have had as much resources to spent in the game, because of that.

Lot of games are cross-gen one's last and this year. This is just cross-gen period and people need stop whining about it when they buy cross-gen games. Soon there will be only new-gen games.

As a PC player I actually appreciate that BioWare is no longer supporting last gen consoles with DLC, for this reason: a few months ago Mark Laidlaw said in an interview that several features had to be cut from the game, such as destructible environments and a more persistent world, because last gen consoles weren't powerful enough to support them.  Last gen consoles are why the game had features cut from that demo shown at the E3 before release.  The idea of features being cut for a platform I don't even use is frustrating to me.  BioWare should never have brought the game to last-gen consoles to begin with, so all I can say to them dropping support going forward is good riddance.

I'm not too fond of sacrificing whole DLC and patch support for new gen and PC folks enjoyment either. Not that glad that you guys are having fun in expense of us, surely you can see why those who are left behind feel like this?

I thought they were pulling away from the old consoles to focus on devloping a more compete and awesome product, given how empty dai is... but they didn't. I don't see what the descent can't be on old consoles?

I don't see any of those features being added back, or anything new and exciting being done with the dlc. the descent is the same old crap. Little story, little dialogue, nothing amazing was done with it.

They should ahve made it for new gen only in the start, but only if they actually would have used the hardware, and i think that excuse is bs based on the new dlc because they clearly aren't.

EA/Bioware's mistake was releasing the game on them in the first place. So many things had to be cut to get it to run on them, and it harmed the eventual game for everyone. PS3/360 are dead platforms, time to upgrade.

Time to upgrade is new-gen game, Bioware-wise ME:A. There is no point upgrading middle of the game especially when you would need to buy new copy.

And DAI's problem really isn't old gen, cause cut things weren't the reason why game wasn't very good. There would still be somewhat weak story and boss fight, empty open world and lack of cinematic dialogues. Also it's funny how everyone blames platform and disregards that developers responsibility: they developed the game in the platforms and they were well aware of limitations of old gen: Bioware did 5 games on old gen so there is no way they didn't know.

Oh, agree that old gen players got sold a dummy and have a right to feel aggrieved. All I was saying is that they could have avoided the problem by not releasing on a platform that necessitated compromising the game to do so. Many of the game's faults can and should be blamed on the dev team, but I suspect the decision to release on old gen was probably made above Bioware's heads and they just had to make the best of it.

Could have, would have, should have. They released it for everyone to play. Had they not, I could only imagine the negative  broohaahaa that would have caused.

Unfortunately, they had to make a tough and unpopular decision for some, to stop investing time, money and resources for additional content for 5 platforms. Whatever fixes they have tried  apparently aren't helping many of the last gen players - bug and problems still exist for old gen.  To me it seems like they were beating a dead horse.

It sucks for sure.

I specifically bought my PS4 for this game, because I wanted to enjoy it on the best possible setting. I did not buy it for PC because although my PC could play it, it is not new enough to play it to the max recommended settings.I am glad I made these decisions for sure.

As a PS3 owner I agree with this. Let's just hope Bioware learns from this and doesn't try to make a game for 2 different Gens anymore.

I'm currently experiencing a lot of lags as a PS4 player, I seriously doubt it would run well on the PS3 or the XBox360.

Part of the problem is that the game was originally meant for next-gen consoles, but in order to increase consumer base they made games for the 360 and PS3 as well. And the old systems simply don't have the capability that the DLC requires, and that very capability is also the most likely other in-game content was removed like the Siege of Crestwood that appeared in pre-release footage.

I think it was simply a poor design choice to release a game on older systems when the content of the game itself and the DLC is too much for them to handle.

They should have never released the game on those decaying system. Not only did it make Bioware look like greedy cretins but it hampered the game since they had to cut out several features. I'm willing to bet a lot of the issues within the game is due to them having to support 5 platforms, two of which are extremely weak. Wasting time and resources making the game on the oldgen compromised DAI from being a great game.
