"you'll fight to solve one of Thedas's greatest mysteries."

DLC drops next week, Ideas of what mystery theyre talking about?

Instead of creating new companions .. couldn't they just bring back Oghren :(

And please none of that " they can't it would be too difficult" that's bullcrap!

P.S I'm really hoping the final DLC will be THE continuation to DAI's ending.

My guess is something to do with the nature of lyrium and the Titans. We don't have much to go on, though.

Oh yeah that could be it. Red lyrium being an important factor of DAI ... I'm excited to kill Darkspawn again :D

Lyrium , forgotten dwarven stuff , not sure about Titans we might get only hints ...maybe something shading a bit of light about what happened at the Primeval Thaig.

Looks like the final boss might be a rock wraith.

Also a couple of dwarves gone crazy.

Oh and The Stone Lives Beneath Orlais.

Aka lyrium is alive ,dressed in rocks , walking around and smashing stuff causing earthquakes.

We'll probably end up finding the remains of Aman'thul.

I'm glad it's not Oghren. I love Steve Blum (his Logan rocks as does Grunt) but the way Oghren is written, I'd think Varric would shoot him on general princple.

Lyrium, more lyrium, Sandal's prophetic wackiness, even more lyrium. Maybe more hints into the origins of the dwarves.

All this makes me wonder though... Lyrium is alive, and living things reproduce. Does that make lyrium renewable? Especially since red lyrium grows uncontrollably.

Thedas greatest mysteries would have to be the Blight/Taint ... since this is dark spawn focused DLC then I'm sure.

Since we found out how Elves failed miserably in DAI, maybe we'll find out how the Dwarves failed? Like making the Blight for all we know

If we're lucky, we'll find his/her burned corpse there.

The dai strategy guide, or one if the versions, has concept art of most of the monsters, and the new style looks pretty close to the art, though the art version is standing full upright and has something of a belly.

While I'm all for killing the Hero of Ferelden for good (seriously, this chapter has to be closed in a definitive manner: maybe dead maybe alive conclusions don't work well in series filled with recurring characters) I doubt Bioware will dare give him/her an offscreen death.

Darkspawn in general for better or for worse look more like sickly/decaying elves/humans/qunari/dwarves rather than LOTR orcs.

The video looks like it has a blue lyrium mutated monster - akin to the red lyrium behemoths the red temolars created - so we might learn lyrium isn't the benevolent conduit for magic we think it is right now.

Considering what happens to people who take it (including mutations in mages) that it's used in the Traquil brand, and that the stuff randomly explodes and is incredibly poisonous in raw form...

Never saw it as benevolent. Lyrium is like any 'natural' force. Treat it with careful respect or it will kill you.

Varric's DA:I quest: Well Sh*t reaveled that Lyrium is alive for it to be Blight Corrupted and the Descent may have something to do with the Rock Wraiths aka the Profane who eat Lyrium.

Oh hell no. I and I'm sure countless others would absolutely hate that.

I was thinking yes it could be something to do with the calling/the taint and what the HOF is looking for ... but since it's been said and repeated that they have no intention of letting the Warden making a cameo ... I dunno. :/

Well, if we're unlucky, he/she will return as a Darkspawn...

I don't think it would be something as massive as a new blight aren't these DLC's are all before the ending of DAI / final battle with Cory ?
