I don't think it would be something as massive as a new blight aren't these DLC's are all before the ending of DAI / final battle with Cory ?

Either, really. But I do emphasise the word kind in "a new kind of Blight". By the looks of the trailer, the Darkspawn are up to something different this time around, and I can't think why this would be the case from the top of my head.

It could follow the same pattern than Awakening (Hello Anders) & Legacy (hello Cory) and work as the tale which foreshadows the next big crisis

No new blight, maybe a foreshadowing of one, but not an obvious new blight as this DLC can be played right after skyhold.

What are these 'Titans' everybody keeps mentioning? Did I miss something? If it's referring to Golems, that story was introduced and concluded in Paragon of Her Own Kind in DAO.

Old God baby Kieran says to a dwarf Inquisitor, "Of course you can't (be tall). Not without the Titans."

This has been combined with a lot of weird, incidental Codex entries and incidents, like Dagna's moment with the Stone, to produce some interesting theories.

I'm glad it's not Oghren. I love Steve Blum (his Logan rocks as does Grunt) but the way Oghren is written, I'd think Varric would shoot him on general princple.

Lyrium, more lyrium, Sandal's prophetic wackiness, even more lyrium. Maybe more hints into the origins of the dwarves.

All this makes me wonder though... Lyrium is alive, and living things reproduce. Does that make lyrium renewable? Especially since red lyrium grows uncontrollably.

I TOTALLY forgot about Sandal and Bodhan... I wonder if they'll return?

Food for thought.

Edit: I also want to add that I hope this actually adds something with meat, and not just another map. Sure exploring can be fun the first time, but I'm really hoping for a story.

The Inquisitor unknowingly releases another darkspawn magister from his prison. See you in Dragon Age IV everybody!

While I'm all for killing the Hero of Ferelden for good (seriously, this chapter has to be closed in a definitive manner: maybe dead maybe alive conclusions don't work well in series filled with recurring characters) I doubt Bioware will dare give him/her an offscreen death.

im all for new champions each DA installment but i want the warden to have a happy ending, whilst i wasnt overly fond of hawk i still think happy ending  i like games that end on a happy note:)

Potentional DA:I spoilers.

More potentional than Jaws of Hakkon, but less potentional than any future Solas DLC.  <_<. Bioware is testing my patience..

Something far worse is usually the case. Which is difficult, because the pool of what could be worse than them is fairly limited.

Damn, now you've got me curious. This DLC is starting to seem worth it. Is it worth the money?

Thaig?

Eh could be, it would be a lot more likely then a few guesses.

Just finished it. Left with about 3 answers and about 30 new questions. Bit short for the money, took me 4hrs start to finish but graphics and characters really interesting.

There is a walkthrough video in the scuttlebut spoilers section. See for yourself. I'm not buying it based on the video.

Really? Damn that's short

The combat ws (for me) the most difficult by far; and the story/lore is potentially pretty gamechanging. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, too. So there are plenty of plus points but yeah, shorter than I'd expected.
There are a few more side bits for me to do, but the main story of it is totally complete.

Are we ruling out a new kind of Blight entirely?

I would be.  Blights tend to happe4n 100's of years apart as I think the gap between the 4th and 5th blights was about 400 years and seeing as that 5th blight actually takes place in Origins which is only 10 years prior to Inquisition. I doubt the Darkspawn are in any condition to really start another Blight yet.

I don't think it would be something as massive as a new blight aren't these DLC's are all before the ending of DAI / final battle with Cory ?

They can be but you can play them afterwards as well I believe. Although I think the one relating to dreadwolf/Solas when it's released will only be playable post main game
