Keep the Inquisitor or New Protagonist in DA4

I can think of at least four scenarios that I would like to see for DA4.
1. A Grey Warden in Weisshaupt, starting just before Hawke or Alistair or whoever arrives. This could be a young Warden or a marinalized one, but not a big strapping leader type. He/she decides to light out for the hills based on the Bad Things happening, and in the process discovers either a living griffon or evidence that they still exist. Can they save Hawke? Do they even try?
2. A slave in Tevinter on the verge of revolution, is either freed by a Qunari beresaad or escapes and runs into it. Hijinx ensue, particluarly if the slave happens to be a mage.
3. An agent of the Inquisition is searching for fade rifts still spilling demons into the world (you'd figure that would go on for a while, right?). He/she stumbles upon evidence that Hawke or Stroud or whoever was left in the Fade is alive, possibly having been spat out of (or clawed out of) one of those very rifts.
4. A tranquil mage is chosen as an experimental cure subject. Cassandra believes that this will leave the mage mentally unstable and perhaps dangerous. Is that true? Are you still a mage after the cure? If you are, have your abilities changed at all?

I think I like option number Two. You have Tevinter in there; Some Qunari invasion going on; Maybe throw in some Rivain and/or Seheron...
And ofc, ensuing hijinx has always been a personal favorite for me.
It also feels fresher and away from the dramas of southern Thedas, and hopefully away from npc cameo overdosing. Although, the North will have its own drama. I'm just ready to go north. Something new and different. Or at least different perspectives.
I'm really burnt on the Chantry and all that. Let's get that Qunari invasion going already. I also want Tevinter to be a major urban level. Different cities and all. I need some cityscape in my game life.

I think taking up the same protagonist would be a bad idea. One of the things I like the most about DA is that each game is only tangentially related to the others. We play the story of the Dragon Age, of Thedas, not of any one person or event. That actually helps each game stand on its own merits.
I liked the Inquisitor, just like I liked the Warden and Hawke before him/her, but I'd very much prefer to get a fresh new protagonist up next. Especially since I strongly suspect the next game is going to be a radical change in setting (from the Western European feel of Southern Thedas to the Mediterranean atmosphere of the north), tone (I doubt we will be leading an organization in the same fashion), theme, and plot (no more faith and no more Chantry, but probably something to do with Tevinter and the Qunari).
The Inquisitor was designed for DAI. DA4 will require a new protagonist.

Love my inquisitor- even though he is a personality depleted drone- he's a malevolent, over powering demon on the battlefield. Still- I'd like a new protagonist in DA 4. Some new abilities, a new story- and some new companions. Otherwise- it'll feel like a re-run or a bad sequel (think Godfather III).

I could live with either one to be honest. I guess it depends if there is a "wolf hunt" dlc and how it plays out. If the next "antagonist" is going to be Solas in the end I think the Inquisitor is the best one for dealing with him. I think in some ways it would be rather unfair to have a new protagonist to be the one dealing with him instead (especially if you romanced him).
However, if the next antagonist is not Solas himself, but something that comes from the aftermath of, whatever it is he's going to do, sort of like how the Mage/Templar war was the aftermath of what Anders did, but Hawke still got to deal with Anders himself, then I would definitely prefer a new protagonist over the Inquisitor.
Tbh, I don't think my Inquisitor would really want to continue being Inquisitor for long anyway.

Who would be the next character?, The Marquis of Serault of course, he/she defeated his/her ancient shame and would win single handed the Inquisitor and HoF

Personally, I'd prefer a new protagonist because the Inquisitor is a boring sponge with no personality whatsoever. (Plus, a new game will have new LI's.)
But, that's not to say that the new protagonist won't be just as boring. I think it's a matter of whether or not Bioware is willing to be bold with the protagonists, once again.
I think the protagonists have been rather boring because they are voiced characters that are able to be custom created. I think that custom created characters in rpgs should be silent to make them more relate able. A lot of people prefer voiced pcs though, not really sure why.

Hawke.
Or someone new.
Or the Inquisitor, really.
You know, I don't care, as long as they don't get such a cumbersome, ill-connotated, and frankly, downright unsexy call sign. That is without hyperbole the thing I like the very least about DAI.
My hawke is dead, and no one but varric will miss him. Being called inquisitor isn't that bad. I'm sure it could have been worse.

Well, considering they've had a new protagonist every new game so far...

Tbh, I don't think my Inquisitor would really want to continue being Inquisitor for long anyway.
You know, this is how I always felt abt my Quizzies. When it was all over, they just want to go home and get fat.
But then, where would they go? After being Inquisitor, it's all going to be very weird later. I don't think there's a going back for Quizzies like Qunari or Dwarf mercenary. Mage? I could see Dalish Quizzies going back to their clan, but it would be weird.
I think my Quizzies will be keeping SkyHold. Several trade alliances because you need money. And maybe a small personal guard.
But out of the Inquisitor business.

Tbh, I think the Inquisition will carry on without the Inquisitor. I really got that feeling after capturing Suledin Keep. Walking around listening to people, there was this overwhelming realization that this was all quite beyond me and my lil Inquisitor now. They were doing their own thing.

I'm hoping for a new protagonist, and one that actually has a defined backstory and/or some personality. I didn't have any attachment to my inquisitor. Then again, it's hard to develop a liking for the head of a fanatical religious movement.

New protagonist. The Inquisitor was boring as hell. I think the character suffered from the same thing the rest of the game did: not enough character development/time spent on the character and main story, too much time spent on random fetch quests.

I'd really like at some point for this series to have a former Protagonist take up the mantle again, and the Inquisitor would work for that.
Maybe a new game would make him interesting? I can hope, right?
If not, I won't shed any tears, as I'd rather play as Hawke or the HoF, or some dude from Tevinter.

While I wouldn't mind playing Inky again, I think it's time the games move north into Nevarra, Tevinter, and the Anderfels. So as much as I hate to leave her behind, I'd like to see someone new. And I'd also love to have the 4 races to choose from again.

You know I kinda wish the Warden would come back as the next protagonist
Just kidding BSN, don't get your jimmies all rustled up
My answer to this is:
It depends. I'd like to believe that every protagonist in this game has done something that would affect the last stretch of the overall plot of the series - like they all have a role to play, or did at least SOMETHING that would affect the end of the storyline.
Now, if we need another key character to setup the endgame for this series, then bring in another character, but if all the pieces are set, then I don't see why we can't use a previous protagonist to take the story to where it needs to go. Or if this role (the next protagonist is of course going to have a big responsibility like save the world or whatnot) can be given to any of the previous protagonists, then I don't see why we need to bring in a new character.
We could still have new companions and even new LI's in the next game even with recycled protagonist. If you romance two people, it would probably just play off Mass Effect style where one of them rejects your offer of a threesome and you end it with them because threesomes are awesome.

DAO: I loved the HoF from the first moment.
DA2: I started to love Hawke only after a few playthroughs (not sure why I didn't like him right away, maybe I was upset because of the massive amount of useless fetch quests and recycled dungeons?).
DAI: Right now I don't feel very attached to my Inquisitor, but I'm sure I'll come to like him as I did for the other two protagonists...
DA4: I would like a new character, 'cause I don't think we will ever see again the Warden or Hawke. And I don't see why the world would need the Inquisitor again, his storyline seemed to end after he killed Corypheus.
