Completed the challenge and lo, my first good commendation chest: heartstring bow, long sword of the dragon! "this pleases me."

Also a superb chest gave my alt character Griffon bow! After using bow of cruel redemption for a while... Godsend!

Anyone else get some worthwhile goodies?

Salvage for me this weekend, but good for you, especially if you didn't have any of them before. Getting both those in a single chest of any type has to have some low odds.

I got a Level 12 Caliban, which I guess is sort of exciting? Not at that level, but that I finally got a Caliban at all?

 

Otherwise, no, all salvage.

All of it was salvage, but i did get 3 purples from the varric chest, so at least it was high level salvage stuff.

The challenge chests were all salvage for me, but... I did score the Dragon Dagger in a chest yesterday. So at least I got to complete my Dragon Weapon collection.

So...over the last 2-3 days I pulled the following out of about 10ish chests maybe?  Perhaps less.

Yeah.  Went from no epic 1Hs to two Calibans, two Longswords of the Dragon, and a Bitter Axe.  And given that was amazingly lucky I hate to complain...but it would be nice if the weapon types were at least a little more distributed.

 

I'd give you my spare Caliban if I could : /
