So I just finished Jaws of Hakkon earlier today, and I did a war board mission afterwards that gave me new schematics.  At last it was one that I liked the look of.  The vestments of the dragon hunter for my mage.  It looks pretty cool in my opinion.  There's just one problem....

THE FREAKING STATS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO BE PUT ON IT FREAKING SUCK!!!!

Uggh, I finally get a tier 4 armor schematic that I actually like, and I can't put anything good on it.  It's all resistances and healing bonuses and that kind of garbage.  It should be freaking mandatory that any light armor schematic have a cloth utility slot so that I can add magic and/or willpower to the danged thing.  For that matter, we should get the option to change what kind of slots a schematic has.  If I want to make armor that has bonuses to magic, armor penetration and....I don't know...heal on kill, I should be able to do that.

Oh Bioware....you make my head hurt.

You might want to look at using Silverite in the metal slots; allows usage by any class, and may use different effects.

That's a pretty cool tip and all, and I appreciate it, but it says that it allows usage of heavy armor for any class.  And any utility slot in heavy armor is gonna add strength and constitution, not magic and willpower.

For a KE constitution is somewhat worthwhile since it helps to build guard.

edit: that wasn't clear. I meant to say that if you have +guard items your total guard is a function of health so constitution helps.

Luckily I dont like that armor... kind of make my inquisitor's bottom looks bigger than it is.

I usually dont use unique look armor as they do not have upgrade slots. Dragon Bone is rare, fade touch is a pain to get, so I use them to build the base armor. When I need to go crazy on a certain resistant - like 80% cold resists in JOH - I simply change my belt, helmet, armor upgrades.

It will hurt a lot if they actually come up with a nice looking unique armor tho :P thus far the BattleMaster armor remains my favorite.
