You are right. I should always agree with myself. ...and I do...plus, I always will ...and if you couldn't notice..If I never did, than I will do..  ...also, by the way..I shall as long as I can...but by that time I have completed that task... then I might, as I always have..If i didn't..then I would make sure at some point I might,,unless, I didnt, in which case, that wont happen so I guess I have no choice but to just go ahead and say ok.

I don't see many people using the acolyte. I like it as a sidearm for phantoms but when I bring it i rarely ever switch to it. From reading this thread I realize I need to use it more because it sounds powerful. I think it took 40 shots to kill a brute though. Unimpressed.

I think it's kind of stupid to argue about the weapon honestly. Just don't use it if it bothers you. It's not like a Harrier, Hurricane, etc type weapon that someone can just kill everything in sight with. It's not a killing machine other than it synergizes with some powers well. It does have a little too much going for it for a sidearm that is minimal weight but I don't see it as this game breaking weapon like the Talon with minimal weight considerations. It does make phantom bullshit a little easier but I won't argue against a weapon that trivializes bullshit mechanics like damage reduction.

Lol, I thought we had established the Venom is only a top tier weapon for console scrubs that cannot aim. PC elite made that diagnosis early on. Now we see multiple solos in the Plat HOF with the Venom. Hell it may have more entries as a primary weapon than any other weapon.

What we need is a weapon with the shield stripping abilities of the Acolyte, the AoE potential of the Venom and the ridiculous DPS of the Harrier to get BSN's jimmies properly rustled.

Also innate piercing and infinite ammo. And it should be almost weightless.

 

...and then it'll be about half as good as the thing that Marauders carry....
