XP glitch is fixed with the last patch, so i'm assuming the XP cap will go away as well?

This is not the first time youve said this. Youve gone on about it like a broken record in multiple posts in multiple threads. We get it. We dont need yet another thread to say whats already been said 20 times.

Had this been a gamebreaker such as 1 shotting everything or killing all enemies with a button press, or granting a billion gold per match then yes id be calling for their blood. But banning over a glitch that is relatively harmless to 99% of the player population seems ridiculous to me.
Speaking of gamebreaker, I have stepped into a pug peri lobby before where everyone is one shotting everything and basic attacks do like 16k damage or something. This was way back when FC maps and dragons were just released. So yeah, at the very least there has been gamebreakers.

I've encountered it on PC. As far as I can tell, they use a trainer that increases the stats of everyone in the lobby to their maximum. 100% crit and auto attacks doing 10k a pop. Another version of this (maybe another mechanic of that trainer) allows the host to earn 9999999999999999 exp at the end of the match, which is of course shared with everyone else in the lobby. Annoying to run into since you've gotta search again and hope you don't get put back in that lobby.
That said, I saw it more often a month back. Don't play as much as I used to back then, but I'm guessing most of those players got bored and left. Or maybe it's no longer compatible with the latest versions of DAMP.

That exists on PC, and while I haven't seen personally because I don't pug, one friend of mine has made a video of a game of one of the hacked matches he landed on and reported to the devs. The host of the game, the cheater, happens to be in the Lederboards too. That was a few weeks ago, but I doubt anything has been done so far.
If your having lag in PVP it's a YOU problem.
Dude that is so wrong, its not even funny. It's definitely a Souls problem man.
XP isn't nerfed, we even added a buffer on the cap to be even higher than the max XP you can get in a match, just to be safe.

I've seen a similar thing. Winter grasp hitting in the millions. I left.
Every map was considered, and we can control the cap based on level and difficulty.
I went from level 1 to 14 in NM game without contributing very much to the group... no noticeable difference in xp from last week.

It can happen on the old maps. Not enough support exp, medals and so on.
I like to say that it must have been a big hassle to code out when and where the xp xploit attached itself to the lobby mechanics. As I stated earlier in this thread that from what I understood, a correction in counting xp at the end of a match in a hopped up lobby was happening before the announcement of a "xp cap" for all platforms on another thread. Whala, a fix for the symptom of a mutant code virus.
Being that there probably is ( as Forest Gump might say ) a gozillion varibles at play when scoring xp on a 1,2,3 or 4 person match, a person like myself might view awarded xp at the end of a match as "stunted" or capped as it is now called. I haven't gamed for over a day now but before the "fix" applied to the "symptom" on the PS3 was noted, I still hold that the xp awarded me seemed stunted by at least 1 1/2 - 2 levels. Not to say that there isn't a "buff" to the fix or "cap" but I seemed to expirence just the opposite. So much so that I saw fit to mention it to my gamming friend Spin after one or two matches. Variables aside, I saw it happen. So in getting at the exploit lobbies the "fix" in a non-exploit lobbiy I was in seemed stunted or treated as if it were an exploit lobby perhaps. xp is xp after all.
So "you got told" dosen't mean **** to me. I still see many "glitches" surface from time to time that we were told were corrected. I haven't seen the key glitch thank goodness. I know enough about software and code due to the line of "work" I do to know that anomalies can an do occur. Remember "kids", as fun as this game can be at times, it still has known random glitches. Seems to me the "cap" is an attempt to put a bandaid on a sucking chest wound and might not work as advertised each or every time. So there, told you! History so far about this game - learn it, love it & live it.
