Hey everyone,

I've finished the dwarf questline and now I've been sent out to look for Branka in the Deep Tunnels. So I'm all the way up to the Dead Trenches and Oghrem has yet to show. I now hear he's supposed to be recruited in Orzimmar so I loaded a save before I entered the Deep Tunnels and ran through every district looking for him but he never showed up. I did speak with a dwarf who spent some time bad mouthing Oghrem in the Diamond Quarter but that was pretty much it. Is this a bug or do I get him later?

I spoke to that dwarf too.

I've got him in my party and it's like you were told: he will join your group right before you enter the deep tunnels. I found him at the inn, err... the tavern before that. There is also Carry* at the entrance whom you can ask where he is. She'll answer that he's in the back of the tavern, and that's where I found him. However, I can't even tell if it's talking to him that makes him want to follow you in the deep tunnels. Or which speeches makes him want to join your group afterward. I don't even remember what I asked him. There are just so many possibilities...



But I believe that speaking to him in the tavern is enough. At least, you know where to find him now.

I can't find him Oghren either.

Even after looking in the tavern? (Where it's full of tavern patrons and if you start your origin as a dwarf commoner - ha, that may be it... are you guys playing a dwarf main character? - you get one of your first quests there.)

Okay, I'll tell you all of the possible conditions that were there:
I started as a Male Dwarf Commoner.
When I entered Orzammar the 2nd time, I spoke to the same dwarf in the Diamond Quarter as Xansus did.
I went in the Tavern, spoke to Oghren.
I received the quest following Belehn.
We were only three in my party.

Result: He joined me near the guards, before entering the deep tunnels.

I saw a cut-scene with Oghren in the diamond quarter before he went to the tavern. He still won't join my part though. I've just finished the proving though and haven't 'fought crime' yet. I did get to talk to him and he muttered in his drunken stupor about getting either of the guys fighting for the throne to get an expedition started to go look for his wife. So that's what I'm working towards.

He joins right before the exit to the mines. You first must see him arguing with a guard in the diamond district, then speak to him in the tavern. Then when the dwarf lord tells you to find Branka, hell stop your party before you enter the mine.

It depends on which one you support... it happens after you deal with the crime lord.

Edit: I was going to say spawn him in (there's 2 ways to do that) but looks like on another thread you said you already tried that.  Sorry can't help

Might I suggest uninstalling Awakening and the 1.03 patch? I'd guess that's the problem.

PC...1.04, still not Oghren.
