how do you unlock her? Do we have to wait till the server's update?

 

I should say I've downloaded the Patch and I see her on my xbox. But I don't see a place to craft her armor.

 

I assume her craftable armor will come with the server update (4pm MST).

Dragon Age: Inquisition Patch 9 Notes

The upcoming Patch 9 for Dragon Age: Inquisition contains a number of bug fixes and improvements to multiplayer.

Patch 9 introduces Pala, the Silent Sister, a new playable multiplayer character. A member of the Silent Sisters of Orzammar, Pala is a zealous dwarven warrior with an unwavering dedication to the art of war. Pala willingly chose exile to join the Inquisition in its perpetual struggle against the enemies of Thedas.

 

In addition, some platform-specific issues were resolved, including graphical issues for PC users with AMD Crossfire dual GPU and Mantle.

Dragon Age™: Inquisition Patch 9

==============================

Fixed an issue where resetting options of any category could also reset the game difficulty.

Fixed an issue which could cause Multiplayer potions to be consumed if target mode was entered and cancelled.

Fixed an issue which could cause the Yavanalis staff headpiece to not display in Multiplayer.

Added a hot key for Salvage in Multiplayer.

Fixed some issues that caused some localized text to not fit in their proper display areas.

Fixed an issue that could cause XP and other stats to double in Multiplayer.

[PC] Fixed an issue which could cause on-screen flickering when using AMD Crossfire dual GPU and Mantle.

[Xbox One] Fixed unnecessary “online connection” popup at game launch

[PS4] Fixed an issue which could cause the game to become unresponsive when losing connection while joining a full Multiplayer session.

- Also Heartbreaker now has Red Templars and Demons.

 

Additional notes on Pala:

- Pala uses daggers.

- Pala is a hybrid warrior/rogue kit.  Lore is warrior, opens rogue doors, has warrior and rogue abilities.

- Pala will promote as a rogue, we're working on getting her to open both types of doors, but for now, just rogue.

- Those are tattoos... not mutton chops.

Does she not have any dialogue?  What happens if I spam the "over here/to me" button?  Does she just point and grunt?

Initially I felt the same; but after thinking about it, a dual sword character may throw class balance out of whack (not that the Reaver isn't currently doing that, lol). It could make a damage oriented Legionnarre or Templar seem lackluster in comparison. But thinking again...something tells me Pala will be amazing with the Hakkon dagger, as opposed to the longsword. Resource generation is delicious!

looking at the images of the skill trees there seems to be some sort of stamina cost reduction piece in play.  31.5 stamina for TTD and 45 for Throwing Blades would suggest a 10% reduction.

 

Should be interesting to see the new gear we get alongside the update.

Damn this is crazy. Flow of battle + looked like it hurts + dance of death + deep reserves = unlimited ability spam.

 

Not to mention charging bull + guard on hit + TTD + max guard passive = guard for days.

Don't be coy. We all know most of the hairstyles have sideburns, even on females. It annoys me to no end

 

Happy to see a hybrid class though, sounds cool.

Posted a couple threads about this, sorry i wasn't fast enough.

 

She'll be unlocked soon, we have to do a server push.  She is craftable.

 

Usually you want to wait a day before spending when a new patch comes out.  There is a risk you will get a blank card with no items if you have the patch, but not the server update.

Yea I guess its not all bad. I did see Lunge n Slash and Throwing Blades, love those skills.

I won't get to use her much though, The Descent is out tomorrow and definitely picking that up.

They're making a habit our of giving agents one of the terrible hairstyles in the game rather than the one shown in their image. If you're not going to make a new style, why make art for them that looks totally different than what will appear in the first place? Why not make the art look like what's actually there?
