In a couple of weeks I'll be the proud owner of a new Skylake computer(i5-6600, ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard, Samsung EVO SATA 500gb SSD, 2xGTX970s in SLI driving a 1080p 144hz G-Sync monitor. I have a disk version of DA:I so installing the game shouldn't be a problem but I want to copy a couple of save games to the new computer. Where do I find them in the old computer and how do I do that? Also, Skylake has the ability to set aside a portion of RAM as a cache. Will that be useful to use with DA:I and how much RAM does DA:I use in 1080p?

You can find your saves in Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age Inquisition/Saves

Just copy Saves folder and when you have new PC, put it back in the same place.

As for your other question... sorry, I can't help.

When I randomly opened task manager today I think it was something like 2GB, not exactly, but you know. That number changes a lot depending on your settings and playtime.

I find it works amazing if I just let my games use non-cached memory- I'm not even sure what cached memory is, but I want to say that games need active memory. Caching something sounds like storing it away for later. I could be wrong.

Don't worry about the cache stuff, just running the game off the SSD is going to mean basically negligible load times.

Grats on the new computer! I also upgraded to SLI 970's and I will never look back. Have fun running everything in DAI at Ultra including 4xMSAA with no lag!
