Hey,

 

This is going to be a bit tricky to explain but i'll try my best.

 

Turns out during the server outage you lost any challenges that were uncompleted.

 

We are unable to change dates of challenges that had progression towards them, so we cannot just "extend" this previous weekends challenge to make up for it.

 

This also means that Varrics book is gone too.

 

OH NO! What will we do?!

 

Have no fear, here's whats going down.

 

This weekend, you will get a new weekend challenge, you will also get the match points challenge again. (if you completed it, cool, you can do it again for more prestige and loot.)

 

Varrics agent of the Inqusition challenge will return. (if you completed the 4th star before it disappeared no problem, you'll get it again.)

 

The NEW Weekend challenge will award 4 points towards Varrics book.

The Match Points re-run will award 1 point towards Varrics book.

The Weekend Challenge running on the  21st will give 1 point to Varrics book, AS WELL AS, 1 point to the new book that starts that week too.

 

Sorry for this, but we hope this provides everyone with a chance to complete this weekends challenge AND their Agents of the Inqusition.  (if you missed a week, you're welcome )

Yup I failed at explaining this.

 

Consider that Varrics book and everything you did towards it is gone. (cept the chests, you got them and keep them). Doesnt matter how many stars you had.

 

On Friday it'll come back, and award a chest for star 4, and 5.

 

On Friday the NEW weekend challenge will award 4 points.

 

On Friday the re-run Match points challenge will award 1 point.

 

The week after (Aug 21) there will be a new weekend challenge, as well as a new book.  We are making THAT weekend challenge apply 1 point to the new book AS WELL AS, Varrics book in case you are unable to get both the new challenge and the re-run challenge completed.

Which challenge did you complete?  There's two personal challenges this weekend.

Chests seem to not be dropping. Investigating, but don't worry, if we can't figure it out, we can go back and grant them to either the people who completed it, or everyone.

We're aware of the Victory chest not granting as well as the two Varric chests.

 

We now know what the problem is and are working to get the chests out to everyone. (all platforms succeeded)

varrics chests are now in. You should get them if you completed star 4/5 this weekend, and log in/out of MP.

Guess you will not be interested in knowing whats coming in chest 5 of the next book.

 

We said there would not be much special stuff in this book, i think there was a dragon call for star 3,  and that future books would have more rewarding... rewards.

No, each book is separate.

Yeah, the Varric chests for book 1 were already created by then.

Challenges are now all going to be bundled into little books. 5 at a time.

 

And we seem to have the kinks ironed out.

 

The next books 5th star reward is (i think) really cool.

Billy was mistaken.  We weren't able to get the super awesome stuff in until future books.

In the next book X1/PC/PS4 will be getting something very different in the final chest that is pretty cool.  X360 and PS3 will get a bonus superb requsitions chest at star 5.
