The Superb Requisitions chest has the same item-to-gold ratio as the old Medium Chests, which was very, very slightly worse than the Large Chest. However, the Superb Requisitions chest guarantees at least 1 rare or better item.

I don't think I'm even in the high bucket, and yes, I also got a rare in every chest. So it was a very slight buff for new players and a very slight nerf for everyone else.

... and the usual salvage ... at least 1 glorious cotton.
the chest gave me 2 purple dragon weapons and another each of razikale's and kingfisher staff's (both max level) salvaged the lot and got zero cloth .....
Maybe the higher your loot score the lower your cotton loot

I did in fact get some more cotton from the items I salvaged in the two commendation chests. I call that a win!

As far as challenges go and the 5th chest reward... juice wasn't worth the squeeze this time :-/ But as Fiddiz mentioned the next book with have a "cool" reward....
The "cool" reward will be 7 superb frost runes.
Or an Elusive Icebow! (which doesn't actually do ice damage)

I'm assuming the answer is no, but is there a way to guarantee cotton?
Any weapon mod or rune you can craft that always dismantles into cotton?
Not cotton specifically, but staff upgrades break down to cloth.
