I must be very fortunate indeed to have been overlooked by the BioWare mafia's thugs who were busting kneecaps for not playing their newest character. 

 

If playing this new agent (or any other agent, or any game, or any other non-essential life endeavor) isn't played for the sheer joy of doing it, then why bother? There's nothing compelling anyone to play this or any other game for any other reason than simple, unadulterated fun. I know there are those who compete professionally in certain games, and while I may have certain reservations about e-sports in general, this isn't talking about them. I'm talking about your average Joe or Jane Six-pack who simply enjoy plopping down in front of the screen, cracking open a beer or three, and having a laugh or two with friends while they melt some faces. 

 

Good grief, 200 promotes...I was thinking I was getting obsessive and I've only done about 16 total among all my agents. Find the door and get some sunshine, brother! Seriously.

You and I, my friend, clearly play for entirely different reasons.  I am more than satisfied with who I am and so I play for fun and relaxation.

I do too, but the fact of the matter is if you want to progress into harder difficulties you need to advance your skills, and at 200 promotions you are advancing nothing, there for if you choose to play with rouges it will slow your progress by 1/3 ...... I still play for fun man, you dont put 3000 hours into a game unless you enjoy it my friend

What use is cunning to seasoned players of this game after 200.....  

 

You keep bringing this up so often. Whilst I sympathise with your position (to a certain extent), your reference to seasoned players represents a tiny portion of the playerbase. There are so many more issues in this game to address that I do not think this is by any means a priority.

so this new character comes out.... wow, and its a rogue...... I don't know about you but I will promote this char like 3 times and never touch her again...

 

why you might ask......

simple, what use is cunning to seasoned players of this game after 200..... so why should we play her, she sounds cool, but pointless 

the new character directly, but just a highlight i on how useless she is to any one that hits 200 cunning..... so please think about his Devs ....

 

ok so... right now there are a lot of high stat individuals out there and more seem to be crossing the threshold of SUPER MEGA AWESOMENESS everyday. And as they  pass one thing becomes , more and more clear with each promotion. What use does cunning have after 200.... .

 

the sad sad truth is it seems there's nothing..... after you cap out at 200 cunning what use is it to play a rouge as it just seems like a useless promote...

 

What I was thinking was, if after 200 promotions in cunning, that you started to gain crit damage 1/4%(0.25) for every point of cunning.. this way theres a reason to play the rouges after you get 100% crit chance.....

ok I was not talking just about me.... this isn't a bid for more power (although Muhahahahaahah) its just alot of players right now are getting very strong, (##Caught## because of bug) and it would be cool to have  use for more cunning, I mean they can just re-balance the strength of the higher difficulty enemies, this would also keep game progression in cheak, as it would make it harder for "newbs" to leech in higher difficulties as they would get SPLATTERED all over the place.....

You could always just get ur promotes erased and start from scratch.

Well you do have a point, however as I said earlier there are so many issues that it makes sense for the devs to concentrate on the ones that effect the majority of the playerbase. maybe in a year or two from now when I reach your stats I may think differently

You do realise people with 200 to every stat amount to like 0.00000000000009% of the player base.

I think after you hit 100 cunning it should start subtracting 1% from critical chance.

Just because the problem dosent effect you, and only effect the god of daimp and his fellow deities, dosent make it an invalid problem. He has a good point. Some of you guys sound really selfish.

all defenses cap out at 80%, so for cunning it is at 160

I've spent a scary amount of time on this game and I've just recently reached 110/100/99 so it pretty much horrifies me that anyone could spend double that time...

 

Think you lot are a bit mental expecting Bioware not to have better things to worry about. Specifically, giving me my darkspawn and deep roads map.
