Unfortunately there is no concept of SP patch and MP patch. The same argument could be made for people who buy the game for MP only and have to deal with the majority of the space being taken up for a mode that they will never be used by them.

You are welcome to reject patches, just a warning though if you plan on getting DLC they do require the patches

That would be those who buy Battlefield for its single player campaign... an absolute minority.

Thanks for the laughter.

Oh, I'm well aware of it.  I'm low on space for those too.  I need an external for the Xbox One, 2TB minimum.  Once I get that, I won't be so stingy with space.

Thanks for replying.  I love the game (5 times through), but I'm going through the typical late-cycle frustrations.  The game still has outstanding issues, but the updates only add stuff; they don't fix stuff.  Frozen companions in combat is the one thing I'm really surprised hasn't been addressed, since it is so prevalent, so reproducible, and so damaging to the gameplay.

Indeed. It seems like I have a 50/50 chance of triggering that bug whenever I'm in combat, and it's caused more than a few party wipes. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next patch.

Incidentally, how is the frozen companion bug reproducible? Because I don't think I've ever been affected in two hundred hours, but someone I know is getting hammered by it. I watched it happen practically every fight in Hakkon last night.

Not sure how to reproduce it exactly, but I do know the longer the fight goes on, the more likely it is to occur. For me it mostly affects melee classes, like Warriors and DW Rogues, but I've also seen Mages and Archer Rogues get hit with it on occasion.

EDIT: I'm on Xbox One btw.

I've been talking about "frozen companions" for a long time in these forums. It's maddening! I can't play the game anymore. I don't know how they would reproduce it, but judging by the amount of people affected, I guess it must be reproducible. And I hope a patch for SP is in the oven and we will get it soon. Or I'll give up on BW. My favorite game company. Too sad.

It happen to me mostly in Frostback Basin as well. It only happen to my melee characters. My guess is it is either the enemy freeze skill (glitch) is causing it or the character is caught in the terrain by horrible terrain clipping of all sorts in this map.

Yea, first time when I realised that Warrick is just standing and doesn't move at all I was actually mad like - "Hey you! Go and fight son of a ***ch!", then I took control of it's character pressed skill to jump and he's back in action. The strange thing is the move buttons hadn't worked at all.

The frozen things are happening from time to time and it needs to be fixed, these are makes real troubles in the hard battles.

I'm still holding out hope that the focus glitch gets fixed, but yeah probably not happening at this stage.
