The new weapons have to drop their rare varieties first before their unique counterparts start appearing from what I recall from the beta? Or I could just be making that up.

How do you get the rare varieties to drop first?  You have to loot perilous dragons and then nightmare ones?  That's pretty messed up if true...

Afaik they only drop from FC, perilous or NM. There are 6 new weapons, and each come in two versions, blue and purple. Once you loot a blue one, you have to keep it in your inventory to unlock the purple version from the loot table. I think the purple one only unlocks from NM, but the blue one can be looted from perilous or NM

I believe they should drop on either difficulty, the uniques just won't drop 'til you have the rares.

Good to know. The kingfisher staff is an exception though. I don't think this applies to Isana's song (the real level 26 staff, blue version = Lyrium-infused staff)

Yes. Unless they changed it just in time before sending it out to live the Silent Sister unfortunately can only wear Rogue rings atm.

Must be just bought some chests and got a power chord ring . Also got a fade cloak dont know if this is new or not havent seen it before though i dont think. I think it may be new though just because i have never ran across it before

K, patch downloaded.

 

1. I can equip warrior rings on her. Put on a charging bull ring, the tooltip damage went from 150% to 200%.

 

2. Charge animation is silly. She shoves a dagger through her own skull.

 

3. Silent sister, eh? Throwing lore nerds a bone, or is this a service to the voiceover department?

 

4. No new skills. She does get Isabella's spinny move, but it generates % guard per hit on an upgrade instead of the damage boost. I am not sure if its worth it, given the low damage and that she already generates guard like crazy.

 

5. She has Warhorn boys!

 

6. No armor passives though. But she gets the shield talents like % damage reduction from the front, and she gets Isabella's 5% damage reduction per nearby target talent.

You can put charging bull on her - works pretty well (and damn, she's fun!)
