Had a blast leveling her to 20, but now I'm unable to promote her. A friend of mine has the same problem.

 

 

Basically this happens. No promotion possible.

You have to restart the game, then it will allow you.

Can't promote mine now either. The screen wigs out when I try. On the Xbox One, BTW.

No promotion here. Incidentally, Tales of the Inquisition challenge tab is blanked out and has nothing in it.

It was reported in beta, and yes unable to promote her in live either.

I really like this character, but continuously playing a lvl 20 character when I still need 38 cunning for the DR cap really disagrees with me.

 

I'm also wondering why more people aren't complaining about this. Are there actually players who can promote theirs?

Restart.  It was originally doing that for me as well.  Made the clanging sound and then pffffffft.  Restarting corrected it.

Maybe for a short time let us promote her in BOTH constitution and cunning?  Then make a final decision?
