So this seems pretty strong and I can with moderate promotes go into nightmare around lvl 12/13 and hold up with her as long as there is no lag (otherwise god help me anyways)

You have your core abilities at lvl12/13 and from there just round out the passives and upgrade to deathblow/ hidden blades:

First I take flashing steel, than go down the tree and take deathblow and lastly hidden blades to replace throwing blades. Go into the rifgt tree to get defensive passives when you feel like it.

The final build around lvl 17 has flow of battle (really good) and following abilities all upgraded:

1. Hidden blades
2. Flashing Steel
3. Deathblow
4. Bull's Charge

The only passivs left to take going to lvl 20 is unyielding and perhaps the terrifying fury. get your crit chance up (crit rings / promotes) to take advantage of flow of battle and spam guard generating abilities all day.

Strategy: Charge in, generate guard, use hidden blades, death blow (enemy dead), if surrounded use flashing steel to keep guard up, at this point bull's charge is off cool down, you can reposition get more guard, etc. The fun really starts when you can chain deathblows. Also Bull's Charge (upgrade) followed by hidden blades which is usually a high damage high stamina cost ability is great. She sort of generates guard like AW generates barrier + has actual dps burst abilities like deathblow / hidden blades.

As I cannot promote her this is the only build I tried so far but works really well.

Flashing Steel might be overkill for guard generation given its low damage (only 300%). IIRC, Spinning Blades can hit multiple targets, and that's 9+ hits for 900% weapon damage summed, could generate tons of guard. Can't test due to promote bug though.

Piffff let me tell you she is so OP I feel confident at lvl one with two thorn daggers on NM   screw the build you can slap on a fruit cake, a bag of cheetos , and a hockey stick in her slots and still be OP as hell

I only have 4 games with her, but I ran throwing knives, charging bull, deathblow, war horn and was serviceable on Perilous FC as a tank/protector to my archers (2). Then a keeper joined and I don't think the barrier was necessary.. But I can see many builds that will be viable on Perilous and above for this character.

^that is why I said moderate promotes and not insane promotes on nm.

Spinning blades might work with two Savage thorn daggers though for the guard gen. But I use Hakkon and wanted to go into nm asap with her so I took flashing steel.

..?,with flow of battle cool down on hidden blades is manageable and it does just enough damage to soften a nm mook up for a deathblow. I mean you can disagree on how you play her best but hidden blades followed by deathblow works.

I tried the green blades thing , the Isabela spinning stuff , charging bull , and to the death.

Was able to tank nightmare with my feet.

Almost full guard all the time , did two nightmare run , ending alone twice because people were disconnected, barely noticed I was all by myself.

Seriously Medallian.
You could take a lvl 1 Necro with no accessories and an Inquisition Staff into NM and still pwn.
Kits not OP, you are! lol

Do you, I wasn't being serious. I haven't nailed down my build for her yet. I've also tried using daggers that proc something and one of the dagger I used procs hidden blade so for me it was redundant to use hidden blade because it has a high cooldown. About 2100% damage hb vs  1200%/1800% tb damage. Plus throwing blade passive from second point is bugged atm.

Her deathblow hits for less but I wasn't level 20 so I maybe missing some passives. Flashing steel is weak vs charging bull because they hit the same amount of damage. I rather just charge again instead of spin.

I have to say, I don't see the point in Flashing Steel on Sister. If you want aoe damage go for Spinning Blades, otherwise just bull for guard.

Double fear passives, no need for warhorn and frees up another skill for more fear, cooldown spam.

Totally agree with this though you might not be able to get unyielding with that setup. But do you really need unyielding with this character? :)

passives are good to keep enemies off of you but horn is great for starting fights.

I doubt we would see some sort of "best" build for this kit. It is very different kit skill tree wise, with many good abilities and passives.
In general it would end as which skills someone likes. You love warhorn? You take it. You like deathblow? You take it. You like To the death? You take it.

Passive wise kit has both guard passive (and defensive ones) and stamina and cooldown passives. Pretty much everything.
What is the flaw? Only one single fervor as damage passive. You won't see huge numbers here and because of limited armor penetration options damage would be low vs armored targets.

What I really like here is great level progression, which many other kits lacks. It's great kit at level 1 and leveling as a whole is very smooth with cool abilities very easy to get at start.

That's true and you're right about the damage. I did notice that it was dealing less damage than izzy or Argent but had greater survivability. In general I though on nm getting mooks to half health was not problematic if I had hidden blades but a chore otherwise. After that threshold deathblow was satisfactory in its damage reducing the target from 50% to a sliver of health or killing it. Enemy tanks (behemoths and pride demons took Longer).

I ran without HOK and with Savage Thorn. Never lost all my guard ;)
