I noticed this morning (it's the 11th of August today) that you released a new patch ( http://blog.bioware....-patch-9-notes/ ) for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Whereas this used to make me really happy I can't help but feel slightly dissapointed at this:
This has probably been said before (and I don't know if it's necesary for me to make a thread about this), but this patch is focused on the DA:I multiplayer.... again.
Let's count them up:
Patch 9: Focus on multiplayer ( "The upcoming Patch 9 for Dragon Age: Inquisition contains a number of bug fixes and improvements to multiplayer.")
Patch 8: Focus on multiplayer (" In the current Patch 8 for Dragon Age: Inquisition, our focus is on introducing new multiplayer features, improvements to overall multiplayer stability, and a new Save Importer feature for migrating single-player save games and multiplayer data to new consoles. ")
Patch 7: Fixes for issues for both the PS and the PC. No new content for either multiplayer or singleplayer
Patch 6: Yet again new features for multiplayer (" Patch 6 for Dragon Age: Inquisition improves overall game stability, implements a number of bug fixes, and introduces some multiplayer improvements. The Katari multiplayer kit now has more HP and generates guard on hit. ")
Patch 5: Release of Black Emporium (not included in the patch : "Please note that the Black Emporium is not part of the patch 5 release. Thanks to the excellent feedback we received from the people in our beta program, we are continuing to work on this feature.", but I still want to give credit where it's due).
Patch 3/4: Bug fixes for both multiplayer and singleplayer. No new content for either multiplayer or singleplayer.
Patch 2: Fixes for both multiplayer and singleplayer.
Now of all these patches released, only patch 5 had multiplayer focus. In total we have had three patches with new MP content. I understand that updating the multiplayer is important (because of the $€$$$€€€, let's be honest) but if you compare the gaming experience with the Witcher 3 (I am not making a direct comparison here, we got 16 (!) free DLCs and eversince the game came out (middle of may) I feel like CDPR has really been listening to their audience.
The reality of the situation is this: most people play mostly/only singleplayer and while I can't speak for others; I'd love to have some free singleplayer DLC for this game aswell. Yeah the thrones were nice, but I have been playing DA eversince 2010 and have given you my fair-share of money. I just want to feel appreciated. I even bought the Dragon Age comic books.
-sigh-
