Im pretty sure its the same character model as the alchemist just with a beard. In the beta it was the alchemist model exactly iirc.

Dear BioWare:

 

Please have a very small focus group to look at all character models before locking them down.  The game is fun (when it works), the characters are well built and well thought out but the facial models are really suspect.  I would guess that 99 our of 100 people looking at the new silent sister would frown and say, not bad but what the hell are those Elvis lamb chops doing on her?  Too bad the modeller was that one out of 100 that said.  'That looks great!'.

The Silent Sister - Her father was a 50's greaser and her mother was from the original Planet of the Apes movie.  She doesn't talk because she sounds like Joe from Family Guy.  She looks like Tom Petty got mauled by a grizzly bear after being trapped in the desert for 20 years.  She builds nice guard though.

Her original design was a cross between Toxic Avenger and Cthulhu but players kept bursting into flames when they saw her.

There are only so many words we can use   Just because we can report things doesn't mean we can make people in Bioware do the things...

Unfortunately,there was nothing we could do,but yeah,the porkchop war paint needs to go,or at least changed to something better.

Maybe Pala is a shout-out to Terry Pratchets Dwarfs. For them the majority of courtship consists of diplomatically trying to find out whether the other Dwarf is female or male.

I blame the beta testers for letting a clone be released into the wild.
