Pretty simple but effective build so far. Took the following skills:

  • Charging Bull+
  • Throwing Blades+
  • Hidden Blade+
  • War Horn

Added the passives Flow of Battle, Unforgiving Chain, Fervor, and Looked like it Hurt. The "Horror" part comes from two passives, Grisly Mutilation and Terrifying Fury. Both of these proc pretty often because of the dagger's speed and it's not unusual to see clumps of enemies scurrying away, all the while lining up perfectly to be run down with a CB or perfed in the back with TB.

Handful of extra points left over, put them where you like.

+ - Indicates upgraded skill. Didn't upgrade War Horn but that's an option, especially for breaking Dragon armor.

War horn is pointless without upgrade imo, especially on Pala. Throwing blades upgrade is functionally broken and its trash for NM anyway. Looks fun though.

But how is she supposed to say "this hurts you" if she is silent?

Upgrading War Horn is pretty important: it's another source of AoE crit to reduce your cooldowns with Flow of Battle.

There are other reasons to take it (hopefully we will see that soon ^_^), but it's a great way to manage the big shield guys when your blades are just bouncing off their shields.

I will probably get slammed for this, but after limited play, I don't think Hidden Blades synergies will with this character.  It uses a lot of stamina and is a redundant from throwing blades.  I went with Deathblow, and upgraded war horn for my first build.    There are a lot of good abilities so I don't think there is a "wrong" build, though I think the two CC passives around War Horn, Flow of battle and Looked Like it hurt by extension are must have passives.  That passive to give 50% speed boost after a crit is awesom as well.  I wish more characters had speed boost abilities.

Love the playing the character so far, but that character design...ugh.  All of the armors make her look like some random NPC.

Tip of the hat to Bioware though on not having any commands for her.  Come here/Thank You/Retreat buttons on PS4 literally do nothing, lol.  She is going to be BFFs with the Necromancer.

I did wind up upgrading War Horn. Hidden Blades works well for me because with the upgraded Charging Bull, the otherwise hefty stamina cost of HB (65stam) is a freebie. Plus, I've been regaining stamina so quickly it hasn't been a problem at all. HB is however very optional, and if you're happier with Deathblow or some other skill, it can easily be swapped out. Those fear passives tho are amazing... they easily fire about every 10-15 seconds, and since they last 6 seconds with a range of 10 meters, a good chunk of the time something is running away from you!  One fires on kills, the other on crits. With Unforgiving Chain, you're constantly critting.

Very happy with this build. I'll tweak it on subsequent promotes (once they get that fixed, that is.) But this one worked very well for me.
