Afternoon - Anyone can move to feed back section for me please?? (tried to copy and paste but would not have it).

Played the game when it was released, to complete took around 200 hours. Story parts where to short/few and exploration became a drag after awhile as areas that you where going to complete side quests were to low. Need to go to many so you could do you companion quests.

The idea that the head of the inquisition had to skip around to pick flowers and mine was ridiculous. I know after awhile you got repeatable material quest ... but I would of thought that once to explored an area (defeated dangers there) , you would of hired miners/ herbalists to collect the materials and guards to protect them from any residual dangers (towards the end as I went to new areas or back too was hard to force myself to collect materials).

Romance options were abysmal .. Both Josephine (religious with obsession with how thing looked) and Cassandra (religious) were neither a good choice for a Chantry despising Elf (all through my Dragonage plays  I follow how I feel, they are rpg`s). I romanced Josephine in the end as shes seemed to be the less religious and I thought that I might miss something within the game. In the end just felt like it was just an after thought "Even though made the characters in the previous game feel more real, we will stick it in just to keep people happy!". There was something about Scout Harding that I thought would of made a good romance, tweaked my interest - attitude, voice, looks *shrug - who knows*  (I can see why you would need to stay within the group in the previous games, but as you were always returning to the citadel, should of been possible to romance someone outside the group). I looked it up why ... one of the powers that be were uncomfortable with the idea????

Neither relationship could I see lasting.

Anyway Dragonage - origins = Great Game (3 x plays), Dragonage 2 = Good Game (3x Plays), Dragonage - Inquistion = Fun but overly buffed with side content that was not fun (1x plays but will play the DLC, but don't think ever do a second - started but did not get far).

After finishing the game all it left me wanting was to know more of the Warden and Hawke stories and play further games with them (as main characters) and their cohorts. This story just left me feeling okay that's over, lets get back to the proper character stories, not wanting more inquisitor. Now a story that involved the inquisitor without the inquisition would be of interest ( ie , why playing the dlc after the ending). Though would rather still prefer a Warden/Hawke story next.

Keep up the Good work Bioware, but remember more does not always mean better (playing the first 2 games with dlc lasted 95 - 120 a play through, that was perfect). Whether the buffage was your idea or EA`s Just remember if your going to do it in the future add a lot more story parts to break up the exploration.

Steve.

Story is the strongest aspect of Bioware games, anything that gets in the way of storytelling can threaten the pacing of the experience. I like exploring as much as the next person but fewer fetch quests next time please.
