I'd sort of figured the lurium was the blood of something already- but the Titans? What if a Titan gets the blight? Is that going to be the next game? How did all the other dwarves lose their connection to it- if that was magic Valta did?
Does Sandal fit in somewhere?
What is the connection between the Titans and the Fade?
I am so confused right now.
Thoughts?

Just a question. What is the titans and how long did it take you to complete?

Mage dwarves FTW. Finally there's a way to give them magical powers again, though they would have to travel bellow the Deep Roads and serve the Titan I figure or else, they'd have to bathe in lyrium or something. I thought before finishing this DLC that dwarves turned into lyrium after they returned to the stone, this has been a theory I've been having for a while ever since people said lyrium was "alive" in the games.
I'm wondering if Valta's going to be a companion/antagonist later on. I can see her being a better antagonist but they did that with Corypheus so I'd like to be surprised and have her stay good.

Could you tell me what the titans is exactly, i would appreciate that very much since I cannot find it anywhere yet? Are they the forgotten ones from elven lore?

Does this DLC at least bothers to explain what the titans are?

How does the titan look?
We don't actually see it. It's suggested that the party is inside it, in which case it has an interior that looks a lot like a very pretty glowing cave.

I think that the magic she cast was a little different to say an human or elf Mage. I wonder if the magic she used was drawn from the Titan itself, kind of like a d&d cleric channels the power of their God rather than from drawing energy out of a plane for example.

Is the story any good at all? Because from the sound of it, the DLC doesn't seem to reveal anything relevant lore wise.

I think the reveals are... Future relevant. It definitely seems to be a set-up for future events.

What is the connection between the Titans and the Fade?
Ok, here's my personal pet theories:
- Lyrium is some sort of underground-dwelling magical siphonophores, while Titans are massive lyrium colonies who attained a form of sentience and from whom the Fade emanate.
- The taint is Lyrium's equivalent of cancerous growth while the the black city itself is the manifestation in the Fade of a huge mass of red/tainted Lyrium,
- Said mass will eventually be revealed to be the series' final antagonist: a very old, dying Titan gone mad from the pain caused by its magic-cancer from whom the Taint originates.

So, if lyrium is the titans blood and mages have lyrium in their blood, does that mean all races except dwarves are descendants of the titans?

Didn't Valta refer to the dwarves as children of the Titan though? Which is why I don't really get why the dwarves are the only ones cut off from lyrium, and why the lyrium connected races aren't connected to the titan. There's obviously another piece of the puzzle somewhere :/

What's all this mess about "titans"? I keep seeing that on the forum but haven't seen any such creatures brought up in the actual games (granted, still haven't done JoH yet...I'm assuming that's the origin?).
I thought The Descent might actual tie some plot threads, but from the sound of it, it's just a bunch more stuff left hanging yet again?

So is this DLC sequel bait or something like that?

It raised a lot questions than answering the old. Much more potent than Primeval thiag reveal. A close comparison would be Legacy.

OGB Kieran mentions it if you are a dwarf and go to talk to him. Seems like they are also mentioned in today's DLC. They aren't mentioned in JoH.

About Valta and dwarven magic, Dagna herself hints that shapers can do things most dwarves can't. She says it in connection with the lyrium memory crystal you gather at Vicinius's house during Under Her Skin, something about how she isn't a shaper, but she can repurpose the crystal. That makes me think that shapers like Valta can manipulate lyrium in ways even rune crafters can't.
Keep in mind that I haven't played the DLC yet, so I can't venture any guesses about its content. Dang it, I want to go home and play!
