So is this DLC sequel bait or something like that?

Everything about Inquisition has just been sequel bait.  I finally thought we were gonna get some payoff. :|

It's always cliffhanger after cliffhanger, no wonder people want more.

So lyrium is Titan blood? Called it!

This fits well with the theory that the passage in the Temple of Mythal about hunting the Earthmovers in order to make the Earth bloom is referring to Elvhes hunting Titans (and their soulless dwarven minions) to make lyrium come from the Earth...also strengthens my theory that the giant pure mounds of lyrium that Elvhen temples were built on might be Titan corpses.

Hmm I need to scour this new Titan lore ASAP. A shame that I have DAI on PS3 >.>.

I know this question is highly subjective- but I have to ask it regardless:  Is it worth the money?  (I am very interested in the story and expanding the lore....BUT I am also very tight with my money and something about paying 15.00 dollars + tax....Yes yes, I know that equates to a total of 16.95- less than 20 dollars)....But something is telling me 'don't waste your money'..... I have to admit I'm torn!

I got to say I am really disapointed by the story It really doesn't answer any questions other than halfway to really get confirmed at a later point I mean this whole dlc is pretty much based of of something you hear in one line with kieran only if your a dwarf that up until now I never heard of and I get it being a cliffhanger but it feels like their should be another hour or two

It was a bit overpriced if I'm totally honest. Whilst I really enjoyed it it was short for the money, and doesn't have as much replayability value (for me) as ones like Legacy etc which is what I'd compare it to most closely.

I also found it annoying how they marketed the darkspawn for this DLC even though almost nothing revealed had anything to do with them. They seemed like they were there just to annoy you and waste time (eg: Emissary Alpha fight)

Just caught the video walkthrough. Glad I didn't buy it. It's cheap baiting old fans with Darkspawn

Which is exactly why you shouldn't take the bait. Better to let others do it and then find out the truth.

$20 Aust for 4 hours of story definitely not worth the money.

Was what I expected in the end and enjoyed learning more, and now understand what the god child meant when talking with my dwarf inquestior when he mentioned them now. Just a lot bigger

Also thought lyrium was people somehow, now its just blood of a very large being, which is better then my theory.

But over all interesting, and glad they throw dark spawn in the way, was annoying but made sense

Same has going to the movies if you buy snacks while watching. Less movies and snacks are cheaper there

Err, what's with the Inquisitor and Valta dropping new lore without any leading clues? It doesn't look like a sign of good writing.

Example-

Valta: But where's the Titan?

IQ (dramatic camera close-up): We are inside a Titan.

Pardon me, but how did you guess? Don't tell me it's in some Maker-forsaken bloody codex in the darkest corner of the Deep Roads, once again.

Thats a fallacy of false equivalence.

It wasn't knowledge perk tho, but automated dialogue sequence.

And we're supposed to roll with it as a fact? Same with lyrium as the titan's blood.

I have to admit I'm torn!

I'm also extremely short on money, and I decided to take a gamble and buy it.

In my opinion: Absolutely NOT worth it. The whole thing is literally countless tedious fights against endless hordes. Instead of coming up with intelligent new ways of making the enemy difficult, Bioware just gave them tonnes of health, so you spend ages hacking/firing away, and waiting for your enemies to die.

The end boss is about as frustrating as Corypheus was in DA2 (but maybe that's because my team has minimal health and no health potions, and every time I die I have to redo the battle with little-to-no health.) A restock cache would have been useful.

I've also come across countless bugs. The game's crashed on me twice, Sera keeps getting stuck in the ground (admittedly that happens in the main game, but this is far more frequent), Iron Bull's character model completely disappeared for about an hour (all that was left was the green glow of his dragon slaying rune) and my archer Inquisitor keeps getting stuck in a "constantly firing" loop. That one's especially annoying, because I'm trying to dodge and I can't, because my Inquisitor decides it's more important to keep firing arrows at the wall.

So, if you REALLY like Inquisiton's combat, go for it.
If not, you'd be better off reading about it, because I regret buying it.

EDIT: I retraced my steps and found a resupply cache earlier on, so I retract that complaint.
However, the rest still stands. The titan thing felt like such a wasted opportunity. It's never explained, and it's insides are conveniently similar to a giant cave. For all we know, a Titan is literally an old Dwarven word for a planet, and Thedas is the titan.

In the end hope they do the fact build up a little better if my theory about the next dlc turns out to be right about the qunari being corrupted based on various things, and its going to be more then an invesion thing.

Mine was from the knowledge perk.

In any case I loved it even though I am terribly confused now about all the questions I have.

I think it's good not to reveal too much, I mean, give it to me a little at a time. They reveal too much what's the mystery in that? What would we spin lore ideas on for weeks until the next DLC?

Anyway, I was kind of sad about Renn. I liked him and thought he'd make an awesome future companion. Was he voiced by Geralts voice actor? Valta was...interesting, though the end gave me serious flashbacks to the end of Legacy with Cory and the corrupt warden.

So Titan is...a thing, possibly the earth in general, and lyrium is it's blood, and the dwarves we're some how cut off from the blood, which is what may have made them magical. So were they cut off on purpose? Was it a punishment? Did one of the other gods get involved and do it? Or was it an accident?

So many questions.

So it's exactly as I suspected?

Lots of combat with few story elements and party interaction to prop it up?

*sigh*

Guess I'll pass til I get a discount.

Still the... spoiler about the Titan seems relatively interesting, I guess.

That's the problem with Inquisition DLCs so far... I've been hoping for SOME sort of payoff for what happened at ACT III of Inquisition but instead we're receiving a bunch of interesting "lore updates" as DLC.
