You all are very nice and helpfull when we ask questions and most of you are mature and don't go on massive rants like the Bethesda board lol. Some of the people that have been helpfull to me are Storm2006,C0uncil0r Tev0s,themikefest,Quarian Master Race and sHotgUn Julia are just some of the ones who have helped me and probably you too so thank you Bioware Fans!
I think this fanbase is the best fanbase in the world.

I personally like it too, but all I can compare it to are GameFAQs, NeoGAF, WBGames, Reddit and CDPR.
I think CDPR is a little bit better since there isn't as much "please give me more LGBT romance" and such, but apart from that it's pretty much the same.

We did kind of collectively lose our s*** over on the Mass Effect 3 forums after that ending, but other than that most of us are okay.
We're also really obsessed with romances, despite them being such a small portion of the games.

Actually, BSN is fairly stable and generally pleasant at the moment.
CDPR forums had their arguments about grass resolution but are fairly quiet now.
Bethesda (Fallout 4) is quite argumentative, mostly about voiced protagonist and dialogue wheels, discussions we surely recognise.
Tomb Raider forums are toxic with their exclusivity 'issues'.
Yep, BSN is on balance a good place to be.

If it includes fansites like /r/dragonage and /r/masseffect over at reddit, id agree, however BSN alone can be a shitty place at times.

Obsidian forums were hilarious after the release of PoE.
Full of disgruntled Baldur's Gate fans who thought it was 'nothing like BG2', with all the usual cries of being lied to by marketing and all that.
But the best part of it all was those features of BG2 they brought up that never existed in BG2 in the first place.

Which is frightening to me, but then I can't imagine having the fortitude to actually frequent more than one gaming forum at a time. Just the BSN sends me on frequent sabbaticals.

Considering that Mario is probably vastly more popular than Mickey Mouse, you could just say that the Mario fanbase encompasses most of humanity.

BSN has it's ups and downs, but on the whole, it's a pretty decent place to be. Hell, it was through BSN that I met some of the best friends I've had in years.
Between launches of ME and DA games, the forums are pretty calm and fairly friendly. Of course, when a new ME/DA game is launches, the chaos returns, but for the most part, this is a good place to be when compared to other places on the interwebs.

It was better till Witcher 3 happended which unfortunately for some reason attracted the waifu crowd. Now the forum is a copy if this one with less tumblr influence.

You missed the YennefervsTriss threads, which had to be locked 2-3 times the day during the last weeks, led to many bans and had to be probably permanently closed today. It was such a nice forum before W3 released:(
