I'm not sure where to post this but I am currently unable to progress past a certain point in the new dlc. My game crashes every time it goes to start the cutscene after
I've tried updating my driver, rolling back my driver, repairing origin, and changing the post processing setting to low. Nothing is helping. Any ideas what the problem might be?
I'm having this problem too, as are a few people over on the EA tech support forums. Apparently this is an issue with all systems, PC and console, mod or no mod. Someone said they just kept trying and got through eventually, and another person said they left the area (not through fast travel), the enemies respawned and after defeating them again they could investigate the corpses.
Well there seems to be 2 different issues, a crash and not being able to interact with the corpses.
The crash appears to be mostly associated with people who have mods.

I was not able to interact with the corpses at first. There was an invisible genlock hiding out somewhere and when I left the area and returned, I was able to kill him and interact with the corpses. Then the crash started. I have used mods, but they are currently disabled for the dlc, if it helps.
ETA: I am doing an origin repair and I will try the solution you posted. And yes, thank you!!! for taking your time to help us fix the problem (especially if we did it to ourselves

Coming back to add that the fix worked. Got through the cutscene with no problem. And it really does seem like mods were the issue. I didn't have mods running, but I did a merge with only the patch to get my saves working. Now that that's gone, problem solved.
My game also chrases constantly in this area, I've never modded it, just added DLC. Also can't interact with the corpses. i think this might be because I saved after the main battle with the horde and the Ogre. Then I noticed an enemy halfway down the stairs, but the game crashed the moment I killed him. When I reload, I can't find any more enemies in the area (or anywhere else on the map, I've looked for houres).
For the PC users who are crashing go to your install folder, Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch and find package.mft trying changing the patch level from 10 to 11 or 12 with notepad.

Same here, but I dit not crash, after killing the genlock.
