Like I said, it's a weapon. Not a very good one but it's good for.........I can't think of any reason to use it. Nvm moving on!If you say so. The scimitar makes an awesome baseball bat. I like the Katana on Silver ( yeah, I said it ) it can cause quite of bit of damage there..but with how everything scales up...takes forever to kill anything other than mooks on Gold...I have not tried it on EDI for the shotgun bonus before...idea for 2nite

DMless/Max Grenades/Venom Destroyer is a fun character. Really annoying for Snipers.
EDIT:
Schimitar Assassin(Gold soloed with already)

I got bored and wanted to see how viable it was. It's viable, but I think it's only Solo worthy since you'll be seen as a recon mine spammer in a public lobby. I am debating if I should attempt Fury Spitfire again.

Reegar lacks range, and when you run with Reegar on objective waves, you're not killing anything unless an enemy gets close enough but that is if the enemies aren't already dying by your team mates

Lore friendly Disciple Valkyrie, surprisingly effective;
Not lore-friendly, but insanely fun Crusader Huntress; gun's weight is a non-issue, and you can either concentrate on bosses, or let DC take care of them, and go warp - headshotting mooks somewhere else. I also find the reloading rythm of the Crusader to mesh well with power usage on this kit.

I love the wraith on the destroyer, it's a sniper without the shieldgate!
And one of my recent discoveries is the claymore asari huntress which exploits the warp+incendiary glitch at its maximum, it kills a platinum pretorian in 4 hits http://kalence.drupa...34053364!E30ECK

Variation of the double tap Claymoar Human Soldier for additional fire explosions and reload hiding with frag grenade for nearly uninterrupted DPS output:

Excellent build, I think it would benefit from a grenade gear.
And also why don't you take melee damage instead of duration? It would allow for more double claymore shots and more shield recharges

That works a lot better with the BF3 soldier, I reckon. 6+6 FEs, plus being able to equip AP ammo...Variation of the double tap Claymoar Human Soldier for additional fire explosions and reload hiding with frag grenade for nearly uninterrupted DPS output:

Turian Sabouteur Melee Venom build:
http://forum.bioware...d-inside/page-3
The only gun that makes sense for a melee build with him IMO, unless you go falcon and want to lose melee damage and boss dps. Personally my favorite weapon on the melee build is the Crusader, and one of my biggest regrets in the game is that they didn't give this guy stim packs in place of sentry turret. Then this guy might have been my favorite melee kit in the game. Crusader for long range/boss dps, and you can OHK pretty much any mook with Sabotage->Heavy Melee, plus you'd have shield regen and damage boost. But since he has no shield regen, or DR, he's pretty squishy for a melee character which is why you need a stagger weapon IMO.

You are of course complety right, I just took the previous build as a template and did not really go through all the settings. Your proposal is the build I actually use:

Never really tried the BF3 Soldier, will have to give him a spin...
So the drill would be shoot, AR, shoot, carnage (hides reload?), frags, fire explosion, shoot?

Falling out of love with the Claymore must be like falling out of love with life itself.
That said, I tend to save it for special occasions on either the KroSent or QFE (I'm a relatively recent convert to the latter, but there's just no going back), and there are 8 other shotguns I thoroughly enjoy using, not counting the Reegar as it's not a shotgun by any definition I recognise - a masterpiece of Quarian engineering perhaps, but not a shotgun. Shotguns don't rattle, they BOOM!!!
I'll second the Havoc / Raider suggestions, and I love alternating between the Disciple and Piranha on my Shadow - different ammo and mods can make the playstyle with each quite different. I would also say trying each and every shotgun on the BatSol until you find a favourite may take you on a long but extremely fun journey, possibly with no final conclusion.

Shoot->AR->Shoot->Carnage (hides reload)->shoot->Frag (fire explosion, hides reload)->repeat->profit->happiness.
Video of me on Xbox using the Talon, mainly because I used Claymore in previous video, and power amp for carnage and frags makes me happy.
The build I used in the video. And the build I recommend after I finished being stupid. Only differences is taking damage in AR instead of Hardening, and taking armor damage in carnage since it's multiplicative.

Shoot -> AR -> shoot -> carnage (hide reload) -> shoot -> frag (FE, hide reload) -> shoot and pretty much anything that could possibly be in front of you is down.
This is the build I use: http://kalence.drupa...34O53314!G8FE.G
However, be advised, as this build is not for the faint of heart. He's very squishy built that way, and you'll probably find yourself hugging the floor more than you'd like to, especially if you're used to have AR restore your shields. Also, swarmers will soon become your worst enemy.
However, it's worth it, as the havoc this kit van wreck on a heavy armored spawn is almost unrivaled. It's probably only matched by a Drell Adept carpet bombing or a Vorcha Sentinel flame/cluster bombing.

Here are some builds I find fun that I don't often see here:
Disciple Asari Adept: Not super effective, but it does the job, and it's fun. Phasic Ammo for Cerberus/Geth, Warp Ammo for Reapers/Collectors. The Disciple staggers and strips their shield/barrier, allowing you to actually use Warp/Throw biotic explosions to clear out mook crowds without resorting to the Acolyte.
Crusader Salarian Infiltrator: The point is to get ED's damage high enough that you can shield-strip and OSK most mooks, and then have three more shells in the chamber for his friends.
Raider Batarian Sentinel: I have been using this guy a ton lately, and he's a lot of fun. Your shields recharge almost as fast as they can be dropped. Shockwave adds some fire explosions and stagger ability. Played right, this guy is almost un-killable.
