Four separate times I requested live chat support and waited for over thirty minutes over the past two days only to get a message that my chat reqest was cancelled right when it looks like it's my turn.  It's simply unacceptable that what EA touts as it's main form of customer support (as indicated by the repeated message while you are on hold with phone support) is completely broken. 

After waiting on hold for phone support, 866-543-5435, for an hour and five minutes, I finally got a customer service rep who quickly fixed the issue.  But it would have been nice not to waste three hours trying to get someone to do it for me instead of allowing me to override whatever affiliation EA was showing (even though I don't recall ever going to EA's site and affiliating it with my gamertag).  If they are going to decline to use Xbox Live's DLC system and force you to link to their site, they should have long ago addressed this issue.  In any case, don't waste your time with live chat right now and go straight to the phones.  At least after your long wait, someone will actually help you and not disconnect you.
