Man, gotta say I built up my expectations thinking it would at least be like JOH in terms of content, with a story that would be more interesting (seeing as how it deals with the deep roads) only to feel a bit sad and disappointed on the amount of content in the end. The team did a great job on the story and environment, but can't justify the price tag

The Good

SNAAAAKKKE man love David's H voice.

The story was pretty interesting, looking forward to how the writers are going to take this.

New nifty weapons

Deep Roads look a lot prettier than I expected

The Bad

*Price tag > content (really the main killer for me) Think I'll wait for reviews before I decide to buy another dlc.

Gameplay:

*Enemies were made "harder" by just giving them a **** ton of HP. God that was tedious.

*Inquisition Expeditions. Man this was a head scratcher. Once done with the story I went over to the table and opened up all of the expeditions I found. Due to the map being the way it is, it was confusing to know what i opened and what I visited already.Couldn't fast travel to them, had to retrace a lof of empty steps to get to each one, so in the end I  think I miss some of them. Then again after finding whats behind the doors so far, not much motivation to go looking for them anyway.

*And what was behind doors 1 -9? Random baddie, mediocre loot, and artifacts for Orzammar which I'll have to go through the trouble of selling as junk. meh.

*Wha no broodmothers? We were deepest we've ever been in the deeproads and not one broodmother. When I first heard this DLC was going to be in the deeproads I was cringing with anticipation to see those things. OK I hate the things, everyone hates them, they haunted my nightmares back in Origins. But it still is the good kinda hate, like watching a scary movie waiting for the killer to show up kinda feel. Man THAT could have easily made for a great side quest.

*No architect. Maybe they are saving him for something else, but even some mention or clue of his existence would have been neat. I know I know, this DLC is about dwarves, but man darkspawn lore related sidequests would have been awesome.

As any team I'm sure they had some great ideas that couldn't get done. I'm guessing the whole next gen only thing might have been an issue, resources may have been moved around, or they just didn't have the time. It happens, but EA should be more flexible with the DLC price tag, I think the majority agrees on this one, it was far too pricey for what we got, it left a bitter aftertaste.

That said I appreciate the team's effort, you got some cool things there, just wish there could have been more.

Are they going to do anything about the price? It feels like they are holding hostage a potentially important piece of the dragon age story and lore.from what I have read here and seen on YouTube It is basically a 2-4 hour dungeon that you have to pay to enter.and that is fine.... for 5$.heck i'd pay ten and only be mildly annoyed but they are charging 15$(the price of a expansion) for a large dungeon.that is exorbitant and inexcusable especially from a company that very rarely(if at all(depending on who you are talking to))pulls that kind of crap. (FYI-I fall into the category of people who believe everything from bioware is the second coming of jesus but because of how much this bothers me I am forcing myself to have a critical eye at bioware in order to get the message across).you can't just charge 15$ for 2-4 hours of game play. Its not right.
