What are your stats?
edit: I've had several people tell me she's overpowered but they all have high cunning. She doesn't feel overpowered on my account in live where I have 20 constitution and 40 cunning, and neither did she in beta with 30/30/30 all around. I have some doubts that Flow of Battle and Terrifying Fury make her too good with high crit chance. (Spinning blades becomes your new war horn, etc)
p.s. One of the reasons I'm so underpromoted in live is because I spend 90% of my playtime in beta nowadays

She has Grisly Mutilation. It's fear chance on kill, not crit. Even without a crazy high crit chance though, her durability far surpasses the AW's. Dat barrier nerf, lol.
She has Grisly Mutilation AND Terrifying Fury.
Now if you want my opinion, the AW is much more useful in a team environment than the SS. Sleep combos, Dispel, PotA and Weakened passives are incredibly useful, while the SS only has Panic as a CC. Reworking the AW as a tank of "equal team usefulness" as the SS would require some hard modifications on his current trees.
I personally survive much more easily on the AW on higher difficulties, but that's because of lower promotions I guess.

Without Savage Thorn dagger and two Guard passives, the silent sister is actually pretty balanced.

No guarantee that someone will have Savage Thorn. Everyone can get the two guard passives, which are by far the biggest factor.Without Savage Thorn dagger and two Guard passives, the silent sister is actually pretty balanced.

This.
I have 135 cunning and about 83% crit chance on her. With Spinning Blades, Hidden Blades and FoB, I always have at least one ability off CD. For someone with low cunning she will feel a lot less powerful (still very survivable with both guard upgrades though, just less dps).

Boosting Spirit Blade back up and swapping one of the armor passives for Clean Burn might be enough of a buff. But as it currently stands, the AW is pretty lackluster. She has Grisly Mutilation AND Terrifying Fury.

You know, you could have a point there about the high cunning players.
I was judging her solely on how she felt when I played her with 100% crit chance. We streamrolled NM. Lots of fun but no real threat from any faction.
I am sure everyone appreciates your work in beta and how the game has to be balanced around the majority.

The main reason is WB declines to promote at almost every opportunity when he does play live.

That said, she didn't feel OP in Beta for me either. I had slightly higher stats in Beta, but also worse gear (though not bad gear, just not BiS like WB has).
SS is awesome, and some people are doing fine with sub optimal builds for SS, or outright terrible builds really, which goes to show how well the character is designed.
She's a utility knife that's capable of a lot of different roles.

She is great even with low promotions like me (46/45/47). I can tank and panic stuff very well with her on NM, but don't feel I'm doing a tone of damage... Well more than I do with Lego for sure.

Are you guys facing a guard gain bug when SS it's in the team ?
It happened 2 times now with me , one with an Elementalist and the other when I was with an AW.
I'm using the Hakkon staff so , there is no way to my mages get guard in any way .

How can a character that has Charging Bull, Deathblow, Spinning Blades, Throwing Blades and what, mark of death? Not be overpowered
Those are the best abilities of a lot of classes
Grizzly Mutilation is behaving as a fear chance on hit on my account

You know she (and few other kits) could brought down to a level if cunning gave crit damage and not chance.

I have 20ish stats she is more powerful than most kits - doing NM pug with her beats the hell out of doing it as anyone else. On the other hand problem may be that base hp for other kits (especially rogues) could use a buff. As for comparison with AW - AW has good control, she has decent control (war horn, passives), good single target damage AND good survivability - she isn't OP at low promotion but she is on the strong side of the curve.

The main problem I'm seeing is that Luke needs to give her a bell,or a whistle. She still needs a way of getting everyone's attention when needed.
You mean War Cry? Yeah, she has that. She's the iPhone of DAIMP... She has pretty much everything, yet seems completely unremarkable.
Disclaimer: I am still playing around with various builds with her, so that's just my initial impressions. The idea I had for my second Assassin build totally was eclipsed by the Silent Sister, of that much, I am certain.

Agreed. Perhaps BW should simply rename here to "Sometimes Silent Sister (SSS)." She don't say much but when she does she's like "over here bitches!! wants me gold!!" Which in turn, teammates are pretty glad she doesn't say much. See BW, here's some lore for ya!!

It's a combination of the gear and well-structured skill tree. She has the best abilities and passives from both warrior and rogue classes and her performance dramatically increases with endgame gear. I'm using the hakkon dagger and savage thorn with somewhere around 40/40/40 promotes and just demolishing enemies at an incredible speed. The ideal passive and ability synergy she has just makes it that much more pronounced.
Honestly after a few games with her, I wanted most of the characters to have their trees reworked. She's provided some of the most enjoyable gameplay I've experienced in a long time.

Someone agrees warhorn isn't worth it. Once your cunning is above average it really becomes a wasted ability.

Landed in your perilous lobby last night, game already underway. But since you were running a Level 1 SS and mine was at Level 17, I left. I need to be at level 17 while you can do it at 1. How embarrassing.
