Hi I have 19/22 of the bloodstained gears in Heidrun Thaig but I can't seem to find the remaining 3? I swear I've looked everywhere :<

Some of them come from the areas unlocked at the Expedition table. Could this be what you're missing?

I've checked the expedition table and I've unlocked all the areas and I've check those areas- I found 1 after jumping off a cliff, but I'm still missing 2 ^^

I'm in the same boat. I should have tracked which ones I've picked up so we could compare notes.

I'm at 19/22 as well got the one you jump down for in the center under heidrun's monument. I'm going to double check it before I go further. I have a feeling they're on the forth level though. If I'm not mistaken I got the first few on the second level and the majority on the third. I hope it's not like the halls statues where you have to be strategic in what doors you open. If so, I definitely jumped the gun on this one.

The other two are likely behind one (or two) of the three doors. If you have 20/22 you should be able to unlock the fifth or sixth door. I'm stuck at 19/20. Can't seem to locate that last one.

There are no gears behind the fifth and seventh doors. I can verify that. I cannot remember the sixth.

I found 20/22 as well and I unlocked door number 5, there is no gear in the room, only a dwarven artifact. I found the 20th gear going to the Darkspawn warren's and following a set of roughly placed ledges all the way down to the Thaig and found it on a ledge beside a supply cache.

 

I am going to go back up the warren's and see if there are any other hidden one's there that require jumping. I could sorta see a path looked at it from the top of the warren. What helped me was I saw barrels I hadn't looted yet in the distance and I figured if I tried to get those there should be a gear close by. But the gears reset once you place them in the door so I don't think it is like the halla statues. Not that I saw anyway.

I found another. If you take the quick travel point at the warren and hug the wall past the lift going down, you will see ledges you can fall on. Follow the ledges down and you want to land on a bridge with 2 barrels. from there you can see the 21st blood stained gear and should be able to carefully jump from ledge to ledge to the bottom where it is.

i got you. It's the warrens btw. Had me a little confused. (I've had a few drinks.) can't locate the one near the supply chest though. I past a supply Chest going down towards your 21st though. Is that the one you're talking about?

Opps! Sorry lol, its almost 3am here and I really want to find the last gear before I go to bed lol. I will edit my post to say warren

 

Yes actually I passed a supply chest on both gears. So basically my 20th you can find it at the same quick travel point at the warren but hugging the wall opposite where you found my 21st, so the left hand wall. and then jump down the ledges again and you should see another supply cache and the gear.

I may have found your 22 jilinna. From the warrens ft, the the wooden bridge that splits off to the left. Before the ladder there are ledges that go off to the right. Follow those to where you can jump down to a broken bridge section then you can find ledges that take you back underneath the wooden bridge you originally crossed. And it'll take you on a path straight to it. You'll pass some of those round chests and I think two supply caches.

Edit: this may have just been an alternate route I took to your 20th.

Thanks Jilinna, got to 21/22 with your instructions. Though now I'm wondering if Evilchuck did find your 20 one, or that's the 22. I found that one too, from the warren ft, wooden bridge left, and before stairs going down on ledges, and broken bridge thingy. Or 21st... I'm confused now Hmm think I have to go back and see if there's a 3rd one in that area...

lol sorry for the confusion. But glad my instructions have been helpful I do think he found my 20th but I am going to follow Evilchuck's instruction's and see where where that takes me. No luck yet on the 22nd and I have been around the entire map i think looking at the vantage points.

 

EDIT: yes that is my 20th lol. Now to find the elusive #22

I have unfortunately found this one already. I wonder which one I am missing, unless the gear is behind gate 6?

 

EDIT: I can confirm there is no gears in gates 5,6 and 7. That means I missed it somewhere. No idea where though.

In the room where Tower of Hanoi puzzle was there's a door hidden behind crates. You need mind plast them (or use any other way to destroy them) to access to the room. There's a mug there. Do you have this one?
