Bear with me if this has been asked before. If you perform a Data Migration between console generations does it move your data and the tracking for your challenges to the new console, thus leaving a blank data set in the old console? Or does it simply copy your data to the new console thus leaving you with two accounts with identical data at the time of transfer, thus leaving you free to complete any future weekend challenges on both consoles? I purchased a discounted Xbox One copy today and wanted to make sure I can still continue playing DAMP with my current progress on 360 with my friends, but also still make progress on Xbox One with the same unlocked characters and weapons. Yup, I want to Double Dip.

Also I'm still incredibly unhappy about the end to last gen support for the game. However, I realized I still had some gift cards left over and the game was on sale for almost the exact same amount. I already had an Xbox One from a sale at Christmas. I wouldn't encourage anyone to repurchase anything, but I had low willpower and didn't pay out of pocket. I still wish support would continue for last gen, but frankly I was tired of the SP headaches and scaled-back performance/visuals.

IIRC it wipes out your old console progress.

do you notice an improvement then?  I ask because we actually upgraded to the Xbox One before this came out specifically in anticipation of it.

Doh! This is what I was wanted to avoid. Oh well, MP is more for time with my friends. So I will start over on Xbox One then for my solo play. It will be a shame to start over without all the cool uniques and armors I already unlocked, but c'est la vie.

I have only run around a bit in the Black Emporium and leafed through menus in MP, but so far yes, it is a marked improvement in texture quality, lighting, effects, legibility of subtitles, speed of character switch display, and over-all performance. I got really bad texture pop-in on cutscenes and in loading large areas on 360. However, when I played the game on a friends' 360 it was gorgeous, so I'm not sure if I had a bad install or just my console being overworked.
