Just asking. What are the req's to start joining a NM group? Usually I just like to play casually without to much pressure, but sometimes it might be fun to try something that actually requires tactics, communication and coordination. I'm around 25 promotes right now so I guess I won't be able to top the NM boards for a long time, but I'm open to sometimes (when I know my kids are fast asleep and won't bother me

Well i dont think that having many promotions is a must or anything, but i think that gear wise you probebly need the max gear that you can get pre nightmare.
And then for heartbreaker need some promotions + the new nightmare hakkon weapons.
Anyhow atm i had no luck finding groups to join to for Nightmare, maybe there is more activity at the weekend, will try then for sure as well.

Depending on what you meant by the new weapons... The new ones from patch 9 apparently only drops from store chests at the moment because it's bugged. Well that's what I heard for now.
I got 4 out of 5 hakkon weapons now and still grinding for the fifth one. One of my friend had to do over 200 NM runs to get his 5th so I'm hoping my luck to be just a little bit better than that.
Feel free to add me.

Agreed. It was actually quite painful for me to run NM at the start with dragon weapons. But once I got some Hakkon weapons it's much easier.
The first couple should be quite easy to drop. I had a friend who got his first two dropped in the first 3 runs. Most of my friends got their 1st within 10 runs or so, except me who took about 15 runs.
Usually if you are just starting play full support character helps, and let your friends do the damage. So like Lego, Keeper or ele. For lego just make sure to get all the aggro and stay alive, for keeper just barrier everyone and cast static cage for damage and CC, and destruction field to cover your ranged units and yourself. And for ele just keep spam firestorm by utilising flashpoint passive and give the occasional barrier to yourself/teammates.
For these builds you don't need any awesome weapons or promotions, just need you to know what you should do and know how to stay alive. And all the equipment you need is the top tier armour and ideally a crit ring as well.

I want to try nightmare, you can add me. My origin id: SassaMFG.
Al tho, I think I'm not yet ready for nightmare (my stats are 26/25/28), but with decent team I have no problems on perilous.

You're more than ready if you have some good gears. Just play support, legionnaire or mage classes and you will be fine.

Interesting... By my calculations everything below 30 would be suicide, but it won't be the first time to miscalculate...
About gear, I have all Dragon weapons (some good uniques 23-25 lvl), HOK superb ring (and others) all superb amulets; only need superb belt of health.
