Tony Hawk's Underground did it pretty well on the Ps2 Camera, but can we do something like that WITHOUT a Kinect or webcam-to-xbox? (sorry I don't know what the pc has in rival to Kinect lol). We the community love creating unique faces! DAI was good but nearly all of the male faces looked close to the default state somewhat, so can you make some revolutionary face character creator for ME:A? or will it be just a spin wheel with only 6 'unique' haircuts again?
Can we copy and paste faces of ourselves or someone in ME:A?

Yeah, i vouch for the regular CC too. They should just try to mimic DA:I's facial proportions and make more realistic hair. Try finding the NeoGAF thread or Bioware Forum threads about "Show your Inquisitor" and your jaw will drop at how excellent some of them are. It's so good it made me question whether Bioware shouldn't hire official NPC face creators from their fanbase because consider that someone from Bioware designed a character like Mother Giselle with the CC for instance... their fans are better at creating realistic characters with the CC than Bioware themselves. They have to do something about that.

Like give us a way to ACTUALLY share our creations perhaps...
Kinda like those fancy face codes from those Mass Effect games - who made those games, again?

NBA 2K15 couldn't get it right.
I hope EA can.

Ea already have their own version of that technology, and its a mobile app. i saw a demonstration at e3, and it has been mentioned in interviews with mac walters and aaryn flynn. http://arstechnica.c...fect-andromeda/
Walters cited the face-scanning tech demonstrated on stage today in EA’s latest NBA franchise title as a great Frostbite feature that they might potentially have access to if they needed it—though both he and Flynn quickly waved off my question about whether or not players would be able to scan in their faces as part of the Mass Effect: Andromeda character creation process-
i have no idea if the app will actually work this good, but if it does i would love to have it in mass effect as an addition to the face creator.
btw the video stops for a while, but it does continue after a litt while.

Man, I just wanna play Mass Effect Andromeda as Tha Hoop Gawd.
Although in real talk, it'd be neat if they can nail it, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. If we got a DA:I character creator with more depth and better hair I'd be down.

yeah, that would be cool. if they can't do it right though, don't waste the resources. a good CC will do just fine.

yeah Bioware's only real weakness is in the hair really they seem to be pretty solid everywhere else. If they're looking for ways to improve the CC however then maybe they should look at some of the free MMO's that are available as some of those have done a great job in character customization. Some I have to admit aer better than Bioware's efforts. I'm not really an MMO fan tbh but one in particular that's got my attention called Skyforge is very well done.I've changed my characters look a couple of timeds and it does present a lot of very nice looking options.

I'd rather a better CC. A GREAT one. One that allows me to make someone that actually looks like me. Facial features, hair, everything. The MMO CCs look like I might be able to do so but I'll never know because I can't play any of them. However, based on what I've seen... Bioware should heavily study them.
If you'er on PC there aer a few free ones which you can access without payinjg Skyforge in fact is free and looks good too. I'm playing with a female character on it and it's good fun the hair is dynamic in that it moves as you do so it dosen't look like a helmet head which I like and so does your armour Also I've given my character dangtly style earrings as well which also move as the character does. So I'd say the guys who've made that paid a great attention to detail. You can't cover everything but it is an area that I think now we're on better machines now Bioware should be looking to improve.

If that means we could finally have an Asian protagonist in ME then I'm down. I'm ok with CC, but they need to have more variety of ethnicity preset for people to work with. It takes a lot less time and mods to get the right face that represent them with some good presets.

My face is the last face I want to run around Andromeda with. And pumping all those resources into a gimmick like this would probably make the standard CC terrible, so no.
<<<<<<<<<<()>>>>>>>>>>
Ah... but it would definitely be an attractive feature.
Besides, the studio needs to upgrade the CC, in a terrible way.

Just give me a CC like this:
screw the consoles. Give them the ME version of the DA:I creator.
Bioware said they were taking notes on character creators like this one ![]()
Wheter they do it or it's a feature creep is open to debate.

that's good to know as this is what's going to be needed if Biowaer are to move forward in this area I think.

A Big Mac?
I'm sure it was a tasty one if it was ![]()
Either way I think taking some cues from these MMO's could worlk out well for them. I'm not an MMO player normally as I prefer single player but I have to admit the people that have put Skyforge together have done a pretty sweet job. I'm looking forward to exploring it moer as I progress as well in it.
