I've put all the schematics I've found together in one album here

No customisation slots on anything, so the material numbers seem unbalanced on most of the weapons compared to other top end schematics.

Looking at all the schematics I find the new armor interesting for stacking defenses without sacrificing utility for more stats.

 

The Lyrium weapons looks less powerful than the Black Emporium stuff but about on par with the Hakkon weapons.

 

Nice to see Varric get some love with the Tier 4 Bianca upgrades.

Nice! I like how the armor looks on Iron Bull. It seems they made all the armor specific to the companion body types when equipped. Still SMH at the Spoils of Avaar and Qunari giving all companions the same body.

 

When do you get the armor schematics? I only have schematics for a staff, bow, shield and dagger so far. Are they all in the ancient gear rooms? Or do you have to defeat the final boss for them?

Armor schematics drop from the final boss.

I got one from the final boss but I'd already picked up the other two before that, don't remember where exactly though.

Everywhere in the deep roads seems pretty much the same so I don't really remember where I picked anything up, sorry.

The lack of customization slots is so annoying. Eh. Still, for the first time since... forever lol, I changed my char's armor. Losing a bit of crit chance in favor of attack and some other stuff. Went with the unique armor, Vestments of the Pure (which is a LOT better then what you can craft using the recipe for it  ).

 

Was slightly annoyed when I found the medium armor unique... wanted to give it to Varric, but he already had 100% crit chance lol, so all that cunning was useless... sigh

I want that armour that Valta  is wearing for my human warrior...i 'd really like  some actual heavy armour.

I just hate the fact that there aren't any offensive warrior armors or helmets in it - like in the whole game and JoH DLC. Aside from being Qunari with the new extremely powerful Vitaar, your best choice is still the Mask of the Grand Duchess and a T3 leather armor. I mean, c'mon BioWare.
