So I just completed the Deep Roads DLC and got lots of great t4 weapon schematics but as far as I know there is no way to get more materials for rune crafting. Trying to get fade touched mats is hard enough but at least it's possible. Runes are consumed on use and can't be removed and once you use up the mats you can't craft more.
Anyone know if it's possible to get more rune mats anywhere?
Blank Rune stones can be bought in a variety of merchants. After that it depends on what rune you want to make.
For Fire/Ice/Lightning/Spirit Runes you'll need Pure Fire/Ice/Lightning/Spirit Essence. These can be farmed from high leveled rifts in the game.
On the other hand it's harder to get materials for the other 4 rune types.
For Superb Cleansing Runes you can farm Revenant Hearts nearly the same way you can farm Pure Essence, provided you didn't already destroy the relevant rifts. This essentially makes it the only one of these 4 types that can be produced infinitely like the Elemental runes. You need to kill the Revenant, loot it then leave the area to reset the Rift health and spawns.
I appreciate your reply but respectfully, I think you missed my point. I know how to craft runes but there is a limited and finite amount of those materials available in the game unlike all other crafting materials which replenish themselves. Once you have closed all the fade rifts you can no longer get them anymore. Bioware is continuing to release DLC which includes new weapon schematics but for all the people who have completed the game and closed the rifts, there is no way to get more of these materials to make more runes.
I understand that people have discovered an "exploit" that allows you to close a rift, not loot everything, leave the zone and come back for more loot but most people would not have known to do that as rifts are meant to be closed and looted.
So if I've completed the main game and closed and looted all rifts I'm forever out of luck and will never be able to craft new runes for any new schematics from any current or future DLC which doesn't make sense since all other crafting materials can respawn and be harvested again.
Basically yeah, at least for the 5 runes I spoke about earlier. You can endlessly farm Poison Wyvern Glands in the Hissing Wastes and Pure Red Lyrium in Emprise Du Lion for Superb Dragon Slaying and Corruption runes though.

How do you get more Pure Dragon Blood? 
There isn't one. that's why I left it out.
So, I ran all around Emprise Du Lion for over an hour and only ever ran into two small groups of red Templars, both of which only dropped a little gold. Seems like it will be pretty hard to come up with enough pure red lyrium to make several runes. Is there a specific area to find more red Templars?
