I have wandered a bit on the new mea section, i cant say i have witnessed much or even any hate against mp sections.

If BroJo would like to participate that would be a dream come true. It would have to be something not very time consuming or annoying for him.

 

Some things I thought of asking for:

 

1) Participants with screenshot proof of completion get to post a "ask a dev" question and at the end BroJo or any other dev who wants to take part chooses 10 questions to answer (or maybe the 10 questions with the most "likes" in the thread?). I think this would really appeal to the SP crowd and increase participation.

 

2) Winning players get to play with a dev.

 

3) I don't know if this is easy for a dev to do or advisable, but maybe winning participants get past banners unlocked, like the Hallowed Hero banner that is no longer available? Or another ops pack slot if they're not maxed out already?

 

We can't assume that devs will want to be involved, though, so can you think of a fan created prize that is easy to do?

I'm not sure I'll be able to get the pieces in place by the 1st -- I'd have to start the thread at least a week in advance, but I like the idea of holding it over several days to let everyone have time to participate who wants to. Well, if this thing comes together super quickly, we could try to hold it from Friday, August 28th to Monday, September 7th. If not, then would the week of October 7th be better? Interest over the upcoming N7 day would probably give it a boost. Or should it even be N7 week itself? I know last year many people felt a little bit let down on N7 day and so more N7 themed activities that week might tide the community over for the long year wait ahead.

I'd participate. Surely there must be some new player who loves turians but has yet to see the radiant glory of the MP fat turians

 

So long as there are no "rules" as some are suggesting, such as you have to only get bronze medals or you have to be at the bottom of the scoreboard --  it would be more fun if everyone could just play as they see fit and not have to worry about a run being invalidated because you don't achieve a certain result.
