There's been more lore on ghasts than the Fex. Maybe they should be a playable race.

Were Titans or the Sha-Brytol ever mentioned in any of the lore or games before Descent?There may have been a plan at one point to have some kind of remnant civilization on Par Vollen, but now we're three games and two lore books in. The ONLY mention of the Fex has been a fake answer in a madman's trivia game.

Titans were mentioned by Kieran, and there has always been some suggestion that "the Stone" was alive. "The Stone lives beneath Orlais."

The three games took place in Southern Thedas and so were never going to involve the primitive natives of Par Vollen. And the two lore books are written from an in universe perspective and can only know what the inhabitants of Thedas know.
