Once on a decent PC i like how its done in ME1, want fast take a car, static load screen which ends as soon as the area loads.  Want scenic take the elevator which ends when you get there with a set time to cover I guess the original xbox and really slow PCs.  Now personally I'd like a super fast elevator that is faster than the load times of the next gen consoles and some computers with any left over load time being waiting for the doors to open, maybe some what the heck gestures by protagonist if the wait for the doors takes a while. Sure smoking computers might still wait a bit past their load speed, but it shouldn't be too long. Make sure the elvators are open and showing some awesome scenery whenever appropriate.

They should have the loading screen be hot mass effect women in skimpy bathing suits

I want to have one companion who has severe elevator anxiety and won't get in the elevator.

I like opportunities for party banter.  It's one of the absolute best things that BW does, and I really wish they would expand upon it.

For me, the elevators were a vehicle for banter and gave a slightly immersive feel.  While I would prefer "open environments," ME3 didn't really have open environments, they just cut the elevator sequences.

Maybe skippable elevator sequences?

Why not have those screens in the elevator?

Moving pictures?  We could call them movies.

Yes, bring back those inane elevator rides to go along with the boring azz Mako and wrap it up with a dozen barren wastelands bursting with collectibles and fetch quests.  What's really important in a tps are all the vistas along the way  .

I enjoyed the elevators, and they're much better than a loading screen. However the biggest problem now is that given the opportunity a modern PC will load things very quickly. I use a mod that shortens the ME2 load screen animations; now areas load in seconds. Same happens with ME3 (thank goodness I don't need a mod for that one). If I'm to believe the hype about the modern consoles then they should be doing better too.

We're moving into an era where load screens should become obsolete. With modern 64bit architecture, more RAM, more CPU power, and SSD's we shouldn't start reintroducing concepts that were purely made to cover up a hardware limitation that no longer exists. The conversations were good. The feeling of returning to your ship through decontamination was good. But it doesn't need to be done that way any more. Let's find new ways to flesh out squad mate interaction and let history lie.

If it's not to suffer the lodading screen, i prefer a 3D animated screen, like what we had in MGIV. Sometimes it was short videos, some other time Snake was smoking etc etc... The way they handled it in DA:I was awful, Maybe it was just me but waiting for minutes in front of a static screen, full of things to read was not pleasant at all.

I have no idea if possible but have a renegade interrupt flash when the loading is done. And when you hit it the elevator ride is over. Because renegades wait for no one.
