^^ same here. It's a lot of work without Medallian stats. Didn't even count for the WE challenge.

And btw. no one of our party got Varrics chest despite fulfilling the challenge.

@ruggie: This is about the challenges associated with heartbreaker, not heartbreaker mode itself, which is available once you beat nightmare or join a friends heartbreaker game.

Yes, many of us have completed the Nightmare challenge rather quickly.  Many of us have been beating heartbreaker and are capable of completing it 250 times so why not?

 

Many just don't care to run heartbreaker after they complete the challenge of beating 1 heartbreaker for each faction.  I'd like to see more people run heartbreaker regularly rather than just a couple times in the whole span of their time playing dragonage.  Just don't see the point of having it if there aren't incentive for others to run it and populate the lobbies

Heartbreaker can be a fun challenge, but I don't think it will get a lot of play as long as there are weapons to be farmed in nightmare (which seems never ending).

But if you can farm Nightmare to get the weapons already what is the point of having the weapons?  You can already complete Nightmare.  It seems to only make sense that you would farm nightmare for weapons to complete heartbreaker, but if people don't care to run heartbreaker....what's the point of having them except to run the same thing that you've been grinding a lil bit faster, but this time you already have the weapons you are running it for.

For me it allows me to run other classes.  I'll run Katari, Hunter, and Archer now on NM.  Can ya guess which Hakkon weapons I have so far?

I think people do want to take the weapons into heartbreaker.. but they want to get ALL the weapons first.. and they do that in nightmare.  

 

If/when people get all the new lvl 26 purple weapons, you could expect to see more lobbies fill up in heartbreaker.

 

However, if patch #10 contains new lvl 27 weapons to be farmed from the NM dragon, then the whole nightmare dragon farming process starts over again.

 

If you want players to play heartbreaker, you should be against Bioware putting anymore weapons into NM dragons.

Like:

25 runs - 1 random uber weapon

50 runs - 1 random uber weapon

75 runs - 1 random uber weapon

 

That would also make a HB 250 run achievement relevant.

Heartbreaker challenge definitely not fixed. Completed HB on FC, beating dragon and Tevinter on Red Templars. I have video being uploaded too.

Better yet, use the same mechanics as the chest reward for dragon kills pre-patch. Each chest holds an item.
