I opened 20 chests seemed to notice that Avvar Rings are now dropping...
I noticed a lot of new names whizzing past in the weapons drops, sadly all grey and blue
Best I dropped is this... Looks decent. Game has stacked it at the top of the Weapon/Shield table in my inventory.
not bad! I got some Avvar named stuff too but nothing that outpaced anything I already had, sadly. Got a few darkspawn named weapons.
It feels as if the new weapons drop rate is 0.25% chance to get them. Friend spent 100k nothing, but pull of abyss staff
Because...that is the only one in the chests. The others come from dragons.

There's also word that you have to find the rare version of the weapon before the epic will drop from a dragon kill aside from the Kingfisher Staff. Still waiting on concrete confirmation for that though.
I recently got a fairly powerful ice staff that I've been messing around on. Chance to cast PotA on hit and has massive barrier dmg. Plus built in HoK. It's nice

The epic Kingfisher Staff can be acquired from chests in the shop. A few players on these forums have gotten it that way anyway.

I only spent 20k but did get kingfisher staff and a lot of new rings.
Lol at fade cloak ring +30% duration.
+30% cool down reduction on gangway is super gangster though
Yeah it's cool that they included rings for the new kits. I haven't come across the fade cloak ring yet, but I got a stone fist ring.

damn, with all these acc we need more ring spots. sucks only being able to use two. BW, I hearby request two more ring slots, for a total of four. Two can be used for enhanced abilities, the other two are for non-ability perks (ie cunning, armour pen, etc). you know I'm right. I bet Luke got the shivers reading this cause he knows it too.

Our rings are sized perfectly to only fit on index fingers, thus why there are only two slots
Also, those 26 blues should be dropping from Perilous and Nightmare dragon and if you have one, you will now be able to get the upgraded purple version from the Nightmare dragon. Eventually they will be added to the core loot tables, probably around the same time new stuff appears...

Have you guys given any thought to eventually not locking so many things behind the Dragon so that they can be obtained via NM completions on other maps? I know many of us are getting worn down from having to farm the FC.
I still will voice my big complaint with having drops reliant on nightmare dragon.
I have no issue with putting them on nightmare but doing so effectively eliminates all other maps from play on nightmare.
That map is also by far the buggiest one in the game and the games last so long that your chances of bugging out are greatly enhanced.
Please put drops in all nightmare maps so that a person has a chance to play them rather than the buggy grind fest known as fereldan castle.

No prob, thin the rings out a bit. Left pinky = ability rings. Right pinky = perk rings.
Anyhow, it just seems susch a waste, scrolling through all those rings, and only being able to use two.
I think we suffer slightly by having to only use the gear we have equipped - without knowing the enemy we'll face. Would be nice if we could switch between zones....

You might want to communicate that a bit better in-game for people who don't read forums and would salvage the blues.

Or you could use D&D's justification, which is that magic rings disrupt one another in close proximity. Like, say, on the same hand. 
just my opinion - the SP dlc was worst in whole DA history, u were expecting a difference in MP?
