I fabricated my own closure. I don't want the game to mess with that. Take that how you will.
They may take away the Milky Way, but they'll never tarnish MEHEM!

Want: None because I had plenty even before EC decided to practically spell it all out for me.
Expect: None (or no more than we already have, rather), because the devs are seemingly too afraid of their fanbase to own their creative decisions in any way other than attempting to sidestep them.
I feel the original series is sufficiently closed.
i don't feel the original series gave us a good closure, Bioware should've created after ending DLC for us to play and show us what happen. I hate to say it but fan expanded endings are better like the IT Theory and whatever else popped up in the aftermath of those endings.
I hope we leave after the Reaper War so that we can learn about the Milky Way after the events of the Reaper War.
ME3 has already been closed - my last play-through ended nicely with a group photo on the Citadel... it's done. I'd be perfectly happy if we just get a good game which doesn't even reference the original trilogy.
<<<<<<<<<<()>>>>>>>>>>
Good question.
My answer is none. The trilogy ended and will be known for its three book plot ambition that was poorly executed, leaving a bad taste in many a fan's mouth.
It's best for ME:A to be solely a brand new story in the ME universe. Like many written western books, the genre is the same but the book and the content has different characters in a new setting and new challenges.
I say leave the trilogy behind you.
I already got closure.
I want zero closure.
The 'Tale of Shepard' is over. There is zero Bioware can do that will provide closure for people that won't in turn p!ss off a different group of players because it wasn't the closure they wanted. There was a whole group of people up in arms that didn't get their 'and Shepard lived a long and happy live with the LI' ending and a whole group of people that hated the breath scene as they felt Shepard should have died in all endings. There are mutually exclusive desires among the fandom of the 'Tale of Shepard,' Bioware should do nothing more with ME3 and closure as all they are assured of doing is creating more anger within the fandom.
Really when people say they want closure they are really saying I want things to play out how I want them to be, there are exceptions but that is the truth for the vast majority.
ME:A is far better off being its own game and saying to hell with the Tale of Shepard and moving on. Bioware and the fans are not served as a whole by them picking at that scab.
You like killing crew members... Why?
They may take away the Milky Way, but they'll never tarnish MEHEM!
Squadmates can be considered crewmembers. And yes, I meant squadmates, since you appear to be more favored to (atleast one of the) other crewmembers(of ME3).You mean squadmates?

I favor the crewmembers over most of the squadmates and not just the one you're thinking about
None and none.
With a side of none.
None. The whole reason why we move to Andromeda is to avoid the old trilogy and more specifically the ME3 endings.
We're probably gonna hear some references to Shepard and his squad at best. There will be no old characters in ME:A and we will not get any "closure" for ME3 in ME:A.
Honestly, ME3 had enough closure after the EC. I really don't get how people still aren't satisfied with regards to closure. I mean sure, the ME3 endings are still nonsensical even after the EC, but the EC (and Citadel DLC) did one thing right: they gave us plenty of closure.
Alot of people had issues with the me3 endings, for many reasons (mine being no closure on the breath scene).
How much closure can we expect in the new game? Will BW throw us a bone, give us all a full fan-****** or try and forget the last few hours of ME3 ever existed?
Personally I'm hoping for a meeting with someone long-lived such as Liara or Grunt who can give a definitive account of what happend to Shep
As much as you allow yourself to have! This stupid topic will never die, and y'all will keep blaming Bioware even though you enjoyed every minute of the power trip. I was fine with my ending's(all but the one time I refused) since they all gave me closure to my Shepard's story. The only problem I see brought up are personal expectation's that I knew Bioware couldn't meet since ME1&2's choice's. Also I'll ask you something right now do you think Bioware should indulge player's power fantasies in MEA trilogy, or should they make a game they can actually finish in a satisfactory way? The "power fantasy" part of the Shepard trilogy led u to the train wreck that ME3 was, and we got the best possible end we could've there(not great, but as good as it could've been).
They should make Destroy Canon since thats the only option for low EMS playthroughs lol. Logically the choice Bioware feels should be the right one is probably in the low EMS option.
No.

Why are you blaming the power fantasy and not the improbably overblown and invincible villains Bioware wrote themselves in a corner with?

Thankfully, MEHEM will never be real.

Its not the only option. The player can do a low ems control playthrough
All your saves are going to get you is a gun and a suit/piece of gear at best.

That is part of the power fantasy, they let us "a mere insect to them" defeat the "vastly overpowered super villian(s)" thus making us feel super badass. Power fantasy at it's simplest.

Except they really didn't. Unless you mean the holokid literally let us "win". Which is the complete opposite of power fantasy.
The ending failure didn't come as a result of the power fantasy. It came because of the clash of power fantasy with pseudo-cosmic horror. Unstoppable force, immovable object and all that.
Point is, you can't just blame one or even the other. The fail is in the mix (and the details, the planning, or lack thereof)...
It's highly unlikely your saves will interact with ME:A in any way. They could give you something if you have the previous games registered with your Origin account, but that's all I would expect. ME:A is for current-gen, not last-gen.
Cloud saving says otherwise, and so did Mike Gamble.

Ok, I see your point. I guess power fantasy is just the most blaringly obvious point since A.) every stupid game tries to use it now day's and B.) I play stealth game's mostly so I notice it alot easier to start with.
