FYI, and you may already know this, but on Internet Explorer (at least) there is no paste feature that works.  That includes basic paste, quoting any post, and it interferes with  things like using your link and image buttons.

Now, I know Internet Explorer is not exactly the wave of the future anymore, but it is still a popular enough browser.  And I am clear it is the BSN site, as paste is working fine anywhere else I visit online.  I checked my security setting, just so I can say I did and know it isn't that, either.  Pretty sure it is at your end and I think if you are trying to have this site be friendly to all visitors, or at least a lot of them, there are plenty of people on IE still and I'd imagine it'd be pretty frustrating for them.  It certainly is for me.

Internet explorer breaks a lot of things that works fine on every other browser. Don't use it.

I believe it worked when I tried using Edge on my computer at home so if you have Windows 10 give it a try. Technically that is still IE. :)

I take it Edge is more HTML5 compatible? did they build a different render engine?

i don't use IE, it can break your browser alot, so i don't touch it, avoid it like plague.

also, i recommend Firefox. it's really good browser, very safe and friendly to most sites, even they are very secure.

Microsoft Edge is marginally better than IE but not still quite right, I mostly use Firefox for this forum. It just works.

Yes, it works with more of the HTML5 and JS standards among other things. I will probably keep using Chrome or Firefox myself but you might want to give it a try if/when you install Windows 10. From what I read Edge won't be backported to work on older versions of Windows.

Supporting earlier versions of explorer is webdev hell :(
