Cassandra, after killing literally anything: "Maker take you!"

It's funnier when she says "MAKER TAKE YOU!" to a darkspawn.

So is this another last gen glitch? Because nobody says a single word in combat. No one. No words. The whole party keeps the mouths shut the whole time. No words when enemies are detected, no words when initiating combat, no words during combat, no post combat dialogue.
That would be a last gen glitch indeed, because in my game, they talk quite frequently during combat.

It seems so. I constantly hear party and Inquisitor shouting during combat..

Why is it silly? Isn't the Chantry's tale of creation that everything began with the Maker?

Meh, it's probably something that changed from a literal meaning to a general profanity. Example when people say "damn you" or "damnit" they most likely aren't condemning you (or their car that wont start or whatever) to an eternity in hell.

Hey, if nugs didn't want to be killed then they shouldn't have made their hides so good for Ranged Defense. ![]()

That's possible. Although being taken by the Maker is a good thing, isn't it? Unless "take" means "strike down" or something in this case. It kind of strikes me as similar to saying "Go to heaven!" instead of "Go to hell!"

Probably not. Even if he did, it would get kind of crowded after a while, I'd think.

The angry way she says it makes me think she just means it as "die!" Like kill them all and let God sort them out? ![]()

Lol, there must be some magical connection between us: this is not even a second time you think about the same as me. I'm Hekate from youtube btw.
Finally here
Btw. I'm not English native speaker and I wonder...because in my language 'to take' has two meanings and I...eeeeem...does it have two meanings in English too

They seem to have fixed "Blackwall needs help!!!" though, my Inquisitor is only yelling it 15x during combat instead of the 50x he did before.
AND HE NEVER NEEDS HELP DAMNIT

Are you romancing him? Because Lavellan in my game does that constantly for Solas, even when he has full HP and barrier. "Oh no, Solas stubbed his little toe! Someone help him!" She's romancing him. Maybe a little overprotective?

No, I'm with Cassandra and he should be with Josephine. But something has to go on in that stable, its not normal to be so worried about a man in full plate armor getting knocked down by a druffalo.

My Inquisitor once screamed "DIE!!!" and shot down a nug. I just stared at my screen in horror.

I love when my Inquisitor shouts DIE! at the tamest enemies, like ones I accidentally target. Like... WOW, you need some stress relief, Quizzy.
Good god, the Inquisitor is that vicious? Now I'm almost glad I have a no-dialogue bug for combat, because it helped my roleplay. My female elf I played (mage) was actually a sensitive person early on and really didn't like hurting or killing people. Demons were something she was fine killing, but not people. So for a good part of the Hinterlands I played her as support only and not actually attacking if it was actual people. I slowly made her harden up though so she eventually started at least attacking but never taking the killing blow. Obviously she eventually drops that entirely and doesn't hesitate to kill after she finally accepts that it's kill or be killed, but for a good while I had her subverting the trope of game characters not giving a crap about killing someone. Having her shout "DIE!!!" on her first kill of a person would have been ridiculous.

Well, I don't know about all Inquisitors, but mine is (american accent). I totally hear you when it comes to roleplaying, as there are always things that interfere. Personally, I like it, just for the enthusiasm and hilarity. So, I guess we both got what we wanted? ![]()
Although, I really wish they'd fix the fact that if you use Sumalee's voice, you hear Alix's *efforts* voice (all of the jumping, grunting, and mount stuff). At least the actual combat lines are done right, but after all this months it's really annoying, and needless-to-say, immersion-breaking ![]()
