You can dupe items with the party storage chest in Skyhold.

Where is the merchant in question? Near the first camp in the Deep Roads?

 

I don't seem to remember interacting with them.

At the first camp. You need to unlock it with the deep roads war map, though.

 

It's also just a table. There was a dude standing next to it early on, but eventually he disappeared.

It'll say buy materials, but you can sell stuff too.

It's basically the same exact shop as the crafting materials shop in the black emporium, but with even more dragon materials available. And still only metal, leather and cloth, no creature parts and no herbs.

 

And, an incredibly clueless merchant running it, apparently.

Yeah I enjoyed actually having some gold to work with but they patched it like epic jerks!

Once Trespasser is out, I'll be reinstalling a store mod that has the store give you some decent gold for items.

I was really hoping this store would not be effected by the patch. Gold is badly needed in this game. But it seems they have.

Wait so they patched it out? That sucks but thankfully with the millions I made because of this glitch I bought nearly all the schematics available and will upload them to the golden nug.

It's good that they're going to give us this feature.

Checking up on this was the very first thing I did once the update had finished, and was rather bummed it had been patched, but the storage chest dupe still seems to be in currently so it'll just take a bit more time to get your millions.

Figures. The one bug nobody wanted patched gets immediately patched. Other bugs that people want patched take forever to get patched.

Well... at least I have two Inquisitors that are rich. Unless I take the other four through before downloading the patch.

I dont mind that they patched it, the golden nug allows for most of your gold from begining to end to go towards crafting mats. Now i dont have to buy schematics!!! Just influence and mats the way i like it.

I hope they don't patch that because the gold was really hard to come  by in the main game.

 

And they just had to do it because fun is not allowed.

^This^ Maker forbid we should actually enjoy playing the game, and not spend most of our time farming for money. Way to go BW for being jerks and fixing something which wasn't game breaking, and leaving real bugs, such as the combat one in the game!

It's kinda stupid that they patched it out, but at least with the Golden Nug, those expensive schematics can be purchased. It's not a total loss.
