I love DA, but... I didn't think Descent was worth it at all. It looked promising at first; companions talking, cool place, cool new characters. But then it went... downhill. Yep, lots of puns. I'm serious though. The ending left me livid.

If you had doubts about the DLC you should have waited until it was on sale, read reviews, or simply decided not to purchase it. People have better things to do than read your whimpering about your putting money towards a game whose direction you dislike.
Lack of choice in the DLC did irritate me though.

I don't know anything about this DLC, but come on. At least as far as this place goes, people actually DON'T have anything better to do here. lol.
This site is about opinions and feedback. Both likes and complaints. He isn't doing anything out of the ordinary really.

Dragon Age is as popular as ever, it's certainly not dying.

This is the first time in Inquisition that CC abilities have ever felt really worthwhile. Pull of the Abyss. Veilstrike. Blizzard. Fire Mine. (My Jesus, the virulent Walking Bomb!)
I never fully realized how deficient the combat in the vanilla game was until the opportunity came to decimate swarms of enemies.
I probably won't really play through it for some time (mostly because they didn't raise the level cap, but also because I'm not sure I could go back to the main game after spending much time with combat that's actually fun), but I no longer expect to be too terribly disappointed when the time comes.

If he is a troll, he's more self-defeating than I could ever be. He at least bought the DLC. I can't do it yet.

Origin sold more copies than Inquisition. Dragon Age is dying. Mass effect on the other hand is doing well despite the ending of the last game.

I bought the descent and so far I'm disappointed. Definitely not worth the $15 price tag. Should be cheaper honestly since it pretty much has the same problems as the base game like fetching. I heard that it adds some new lore that some have not swallowed it well.
"Man dislikes DLC for game he hates."
I'm shocked. Truly.

only a few hours content, thin on plot, lack of choice at ending (no murder-knife option for Valta? srsly?), repetitive waves of HP-heavy enemies = not really worth twelve quid, tbh. The DLC was fun, I enjoyed it, but not worth the price.
OP is massively over-exaggerating though. DA will be fine. It just needs to figure out what kind of game it is and focus on gameplay next time round.

This dude just wants to be angry
You know a person is right when he dedicates his first post to pointing that out.

See, I thought I was angry for not even buying it and being bummed about where DA is in general. This guy actually bought the DLC... how is he that angry?
But I'll get out of here. The thread titled amused me a little. ![]()

Well, obviously.
DLC will always be a waste of money, but alas us suckers will keep on buying it, and they will keep on shipping it.
I hope you bought some of those armor/weapon/decoration packs they're selling as well. I hear they're quite the awesome.

This was the first DLC I bought for DAI. I also contemplated on buying Hakkon but now I'd rather spend my money else where.

I think everyone else would rather you spend your money elsewhere, too. And your time, too, really.

1. Origins is on the market for 6 years now, Inquisition was released like 8 months ago.
2. There are no official sales data, so where did you take that information from?
3. Mass Effect 3 was so far the last game in the franchise, so how can it be doing well?
We can say how Mass Effect is doing, after Andromeda is released.
