Could really use a hand here

I seem to be running into the same error trying to install ME 2 that I had with Dragon Age (which I had to give up on altogether). I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 bit. When trying to install, I get through the entry of the key code and as it begins to install it stops and gives a Failure: Not enough disk space error! Message. I'm installing this game onto a 2 TB hard drive with 1.42 TB free so this is clearly not the case.
Anyone able to give me a hand or lend me some guidance or suggestions? Loved ME 1, this is dissappointing.
Thanks folks.

Also, other than dragon age, have you had this problem installing anything else?

I'd be lying if I had any idea what that meant

Yeah you could try disabling UAC and see if that helps. You can also try running the setup.exe (if thats what it is) as an administrator.Kohortravener wrote...
Vista Ultimate 64 bit. No real issues installing anything else. I have noticed that on occassion I would get some odd messages or just not be able to install when the default path was c:\\\\program files (x86)\\\\etc etc....but could be circumvented by just installing to its own folder on c or whatnot. Will not work in this case.

Yah! Got to Control Panel> Users. In there is a check box to disable user account control. Disabling that will cause you to have to restart. Try installing again after the restart.Kohortravener wrote...
Do you have User Account Control enabled? Maybe the File and Registry Virtualization feature is causing you problems?
I'd be lying if I had any idea what that meant. Any chance you could provide a run down on what I'd need to check?
Also. Because of the way Vista handles its program folder sometimes its better to install the game into a different directory. I used to have massive issues with Oblivion because of this.
