Since that other thread vanished mysteriously, I thought since the majority of us who post here are Gold level players..Lets talk about using consumables. Me, for instance..I will always equip level 2 consumables no matter what lobby I am in. When it come to levels 3-4, ..when I see others equipping them on Gold..I know they are serious about succeeding & making the game go as fast as possible...Thats what I am talking about & I follow suit... My #1 Rule..since I am a serial pugger..is if the host cant be bothered to even equip any kind of level 1 consumables of any type..I leave.. How do you feel about consumables? What are your PUG policies? Does it matter to you that the consumables used on Gold are levels 3-4/ I honestly want to know what you think BSN.  I am also going to make a how to spec a grenade character thread..cuz it has been so long and I forgot how to do so..Thank you for your time in reading this..LOL TL:DR.. I look forward to your responses.

Serial Pugger as well. In Gold, always lvl 3. Platinum lvl 4. When I visit Silver every once a while, I always throw on lvl II or III, to make the game go faster. I mean, what else am I gonna do with them? Save them for MEA? I stopped caring about what PUGs use, as long as they ain't N7 120 >

I pug and don't host so it's their lobby their rules.  If they think their good enough to run without consumables so be it.  I just play and always equip the highest level consumables I have at the time for Gold+.  The only lobbies I bail on are presets and any with a Novaguard as most people, with or without consumables, play them poorly.

Depends on the kit and loadout.  I'll throw on anything from 1-4, depending on if I want a quick match, how the rest of the team looks, whether I'm playing a lolinfiltrator or not, whether I'm sitting on 150+ Warp Ammo IV and so on.

 

Usually I'll just put on level 1 stuff when looking for a lobby though.

I always wear 3-4 gear unless it's something that doesn't matter much, like a rail amp on my acolyte or something like that.  If you have the gear why not use it?

I used to care but not anymore EXCEPT when it is a platinum pug lobby. I guess in pugs I don't expect much that way I am pleasantly surprised when I find competent gamers who can play this game. Even in Platinum though, as long as they have level I's minimum I am good with.

Being a noob I don't have much equipment or gear. I always put on level 1 equipment to search for a game, but if I get in a lobby where other people have good stuff equipped, then I switch mine up to the best I have, which is level 2 mostly. It seems only fair, right?

Don't quite understand what you're saying? They normally kick me when they want me to leave. Happens a lot.

If I'm with friends, we start kicking people out more than usual if they don't have consumables equipped, but if I'm by myself, I'll only kick if the host wants that person gone or if that person is obviously leeching.

Yeah I always use gear and consumables, like someone else said, "it's not like you can take them with you to Andromeda". (Although that would be cool)

Besides I feel it's rude not to put something on, even if it's just level 1 gear.

 

When I search U, U, Gold I usually just put on Cryo/Explosive ammo (I have buttloads of those) and low level Shield Cells until I land in a lobby and then I'll change my gear according to Map, Team etc.

So I need to be Asari or Quarian to be kicked less? You're saying that other players will overlook my low N7 and CP if I have a great butt? That's truly sexist and yet it totally makes sense.

I took your advice and played the Asari Huntress. I didn't get kicked. So it works

I only use the consumables my character needs to work/be fun. Eg cryo ammo on my human soldier Adas cryo build. Without it concussive shot sucks so hard.

Or adrenaline on fury, because she just needs to go faster!
