I used to be way too conservative with consumables now I have a healthy amount of everything. It feels good going into almost every match with a level III rail amp.

I pug and don't host so it's their lobby their rules.  If they think their good enough to run without consumables so be it.  I just play and always equip the highest level consumables I have at the time for Gold+.  The only lobbies I bail on are presets and any with a Novaguard as most people, with or without consumables, play them poorly.

Novaguards are great even when they're bad. If you prime it, they will detonate. And they completely trivialize cerberus in my experience.

I don't discriminate. I'll still pug with the poor pugs that don't have any weapons, consumables or gear. I'll spin pug lottery, and whatever it land on, I play (it's actually only annoying when it land on things like Flamer + Recon Mind spam on Reapers Giant. Can't believe I stuck through that. But I retired ME3mp after that. Back to Demon Souls).

I even use level 1 stuff so I'm don't overpower them too much. Just like a bigger brother terminator type thing would do.

But they have to have one weapon, at least  :P

I used level 2 equipment until I ran low. Now I use level 3, but have run low. Now I just juggle between the two while dipping into 1's and 4's every once in a while.

Consumables are friends, not food.

I used to care, but not anymore. I am also a serial pugger, and when I land in a lobby I hit ready. It's only Gold. If the others don't want to equip anything then they get to watch me pile up an obscene score.

I certainly won't kick people for it (well, at any difficulty under Plat anyways).

Last week I land in a lobby with 3 no equipment players, two of them put [X] on the 3rd (I guess because he had a lower N7 than them). I hit ready, so did the player with the kick votes, the other 2 would not .. eventually I just left the lobby.

I have many times pugged Gold on an alt low N7 account and not equipped anything, so I'm not about to kick others for the same.

As a low n7 alt account I would like to say that max doesn't speak for my people.

Serial Pugger as well. In Gold, always lvl 3. Platinum lvl 4. When I visit Silver every once a while, I always throw on lvl II or III, to make the game go faster. I mean, what else am I gonna do with them? Save them for MEA? I stopped caring about what PUGs use, as long as they ain't N7 120 >

uh oh TZ is going to have issues with the last part, lol

I absolutely do not care as long as they take something. For lolsilver it's going to be sub-20 regardless so I do not expect anyone to take consumables there.

I use max gear for Plat, but anything from level 1 - 4 for Gold.  Depends on the lobby.  If it looks like we have a chance of wiping, I'll not waste good consumables.

I tried playing a week ago after a pretty long break, and wow... rusty.  Like frustyrating.  Was fun though.  In those games, I used the best gear I had because I was so terrible.

Got invited to a gold GIP once without any equipment or gear on. Luckily I had a piercing mod on whatever gun it was, and I noticed a difference in damage but not so much that it kept me from contributing.

Even though I know it won't be the end of the world if I don't take it, i bring it anyway. It's fun to knock the stuffing out of everything fast as hell.

I use 2-3's until I start running low..then I will dip into 4's.. I don't ever play platinum so the 4's do tend to stack.. I am always really low on level 3 shotgun & assault rifle amps. I also stopped equipping anything then searching for a match along time ago after too many disasters & I would wind up losing those consumables...so after I stopped playing GIP...my consumables started growing at a better rate. I still stick to the rule if the host doesnt equip anything..I will just go find another lobby.

Pugs, usually level 3 unless I see others with IV, etc. BSNers, IVs all around b/c score is everything and life itself.

Until I run out of IVs, then it's obviously lag that's behind my deflated score not weaker consumables.

I generally equip level 3 consumables, occasionally level 4 if we've just wiped on a previous game and revenge is necessary.  I wouldn't kick anyone from a lobby for not using equipment, I tend to only kick someone for obvious leeching in the previous game.

I only play platinum(well maybe 95% of the time).

I typically never use level IV gear.  I will often spend through bonuses I get from Jumbo Packs first.  This allows me to uselessly stack gear and money, which in turn makes my e-peen larger.  I usually have more Level IVs than LEvel IIIs.  Exception being Cyclonics.

I use Level IIIs when I'm out of Is and IIs.

As long as people at least equip gear bonus(the free one), I don't care what people equip, as long as they have that.

On my alternate account(with mostly maxed weapons), I was recently kicked from a gold pug, whilst doing a promotion, by 3 players who all had ridiculously high challenge and N7 points, level IV gear and maxed out weapons and mods.  This hurt my feelings and made me feel sub-human.

Granted I had level I ammo/weapon bonuses equipped, but my weapons on this account are getting up in rank...  This should indicate that unless I hacked credits, I probably know what I am doing.

Who the hell has over a thousand hours in this game and still kicks people from gold lobbies?!?!?!

Generally I use max level consumables because what the hell else am I going to use them for? I might get a little conservative on cyclonics if I have a wild hair and feel like actually trying to get a Plat solo but generally I have a pretty decent level on consumables in every space.

I cannot emphasize how nice it is to have those DLCs on a removable hard drive and take it out when you splurge on consumables. 1)You actually get the **** you want: cyclonics, nice weapon amps, AP, Disruptor, Incendiary Ammos. 2)The store seems to move faster.

I always use consumables for Gold.  Usually Level III-IV, unless it looks like a good PUG lobby (then I might use some level 2 or maybe skip the weapon amp).  Weapon Amps and Adrenaline Mods are the only ones I'm ever running short of.  I have craploads of every kind of Level III and IV ammo except for Warp Ammo, so why not use it?  Even if I'm running short on weapon amps, I'll still put a headshot consumable or stability consumable on (as appropriate) just to help a bit.

I can't do that for these main reasons; Drill Ammo 3 (much better then AP 3), Phasic 3 (for Widow, BW, Javelin and such clean kills), and VI 3 (VIs are nice to help you play more of your favourite weapon class, since they can be used on any weapon. Effectively doubling your chances of being able to play you fave weapon class. ie. with so many Harrier lovers & it being a headshot focus weapon, you'd think VI's would be way more popular?).

These are the main things I miss on the WiiU (since it don't have the last 2 DLC). Along with Jumbo Packs.

Before I maxed my first account manifest on X-Box, I always played Gold with level 1 and 2 consumables. Then I spent 63 million in one shot, and all my level 3 and 4 consumables were maxed. That sure changed what consumables I use on that account. But I still make sure these numbers stay healthy (I try not to let any get lower then 240, plus lots of cash in the bank to always bring them back up to max 255).

But now on PS3 & WiiU, it's back to being stingy and using my lowest level consumables first (unless Platinum, of course).

When I play Gold: level 3 ammo and weapon amps if I have them in stock; level 2 if I'm out of level 3s.  The armour equipment is more situational: if a level 2 stability mod will suffice to tame my gun's recoil, or if a level 1 cyclonic will take the character over 1000 shields, I will use those rather than spending a level 3 item.

(When I play Silver: level 1 or 2 ammo; weapon amp depends on the weapon (the Avenger gets a level 1 or 2 amp, the Mattock doesn't need an amp at all); armour equipment is situational as above but is often not required at all).

I don't have my account maxed, so I buy only APs (if I have plenty of consumables) or SPs (if I'm running low on consumables).  I see no reason to waste money right now on building up consumables, because UR cards are the only thing I really care about.  The closest I have ever come to running out of anything was 2 weeks ago when I got down to 5 AR Amp III's.

First thing what I did when I maxed manifest and had 255 of every level 3 & 4 consumables was; pick the all 6 glitched Juggenaut, my brand new Spitfire X, AP ammo 4, AR amp 3, and Adren Mod 3. Then went to town;

It felt good. And if I wanted, I could do it over 255 more times in a row. There's nothing that can stop me. Knowing I have this freedom makes me feel special.
